Why charm

BLM WHM SMN SCH THF RNG BRD MNK WAR DRK PLD > 99

At some point we are all going to realize what a boon it was to have our current president.  It will either come when we see that Hillary hides away from the press or when Bernie begins to wonder why people are disrespecting his wife or when Trump starts to invoke the Patriot Act on Bill Maher's show or when Cruz starts legalizing Spanish law.  We are going to wonder why it is that Bush and Reagan and Obama were SO much better at being President than these guys.

It has a lot to do with presentation.  I have said it before that a President's job is to "enchant people with reality" and I still hold to that.  We have proven that you can take a junior senator with few friends in Congress and make him into a great leader and by the same token I have faith that whoever is elected, he can't screw it up that much because he frankly doesn't have that much power.

And yet, I believe if he is not able to inspire the people, like Obama does with every speech he makes now, or like George W Bush(great speeches) was able to do or like Reagan and Clinton, then we will have a very different country.  I just saw Obama's speech from Saturday to a group of British college kids and it was Q and A and he was brilliant. (I can hardly imagine anyone having his wisdom at fielding questions from students.)

At this point, my first choice to rule the country would be Joel Osteen and then Tom Cruise or better maybe have Tom as first choice because there is always something TOO righteous about preachers yeah?  It's like they want you to believe they understand everything right up until they point out that YOU masturbate... ha ha, then you squirm around wondering "how did I end up HERE?"  That's faith too, sure, but to have faith in the country, you will need someone that understands the BLOOD, as well as the body.  But even MORE than that you will need a GREAT presenter.  Someone that inspires others through hard work but also through charm.

You ever notice how many great actors become great actors, right after working with Tom Cruise?  Bunches.

I was once told by a supporter of Sarah Silverman that I was perhaps too fanatic about her.  Lessee, what were the words?  Oh, I was telling her that I loved seeing her in everything she did or something like that and this person tweeted "yes, you love her WORK and you are APPRECIATIVE" or some nonsense like that that basically told me like Michele Monaghan told Sam Jones in his interview "That's right, MAN".   Or like Erin Burnett does when a guy goes and says something off putting and then she shuts him down with a SIR or something... ouch.  It was a way of souring my charm into something everyone could understand.  But you know what?  I can sour my OWN milk thank you very much and if there is one reason I like SarahK is NOT because of her great butt, NOT her great comedy, not her KEEN wit or amazing basketball skills or prodigious jew jugs... and certainly not because I am getting paid; the reason that I like SarahK is because I am charmed by her.

See that?  Charm.  Same goes for Alex, I love you... no not really.  Wait!  Take your shirt off, ok yep, not really. (joking)

Charm is close to a voodoo spell.  I basically love putting on Sarah's show because she has achieved charm.  That's a very hard thing to do.  I don't like comedy frankly and I sat through all of Schumer's stuff (nice movie) and can barely stand it; and watching GUYS do comedy is the very definition of hell.  It's terrible.  And yet somehow I love Bill Maher.  And I love Rachel... (as before... if you are trying to arrest me for my crazy comments then immediately grab yourself a portion of petroleum jelly)

You see, people love people sure but if you start to follow someone around, you are a follower.  Yet, this has the strange connotation of making you a STALKER right?

I was having a discussion recently about the differences of tempation and testing.  We were discussing how you get thrown out of Eden.  It happens because you were tempted and yet by accepting the tempation of Satan and failing God's test, didn't God basically tempt you to leave Eden?

Remember, to be confused is the goal.  If you understand everything, life is easy for you... just attack what you want... you are also quite insane.

Charm is achieved when you DON'T tempt people.   When you have gone about your daily life making comedy or taking pictures of your non-naked butt doing things and put yourself out there to be worshipped, without asking for it, the people that follow you are charmed.  You are just another god-fearing, well-meaning, nail-clipping, perhaps non-smoking person that people now want to follow around and compare themselves to.  And why not?  I just got finished saying that we are all masters and slaves and what could be better than to pick out our own master and try to be like them.

That's why charm is so necessary and why it is so rare.  People that want to be great leaders have to do TWO things, first, earn a lot of money which means that a whole lot of people trust you.  Second, have the skills to be charming.  Our president needs to be charming and the first step in being charming is to have a healthy respect for yourself.  You have to be overly ambitious.  Obama achieved that and so did Cruz perhaps.  Every time I see Cruz, I see an Obama waiting to happen but there are too many things off about him.  I would mention them but they are not things he could change so I won't.  Young senators have the drive necessary to survive a long campaign and why shouldn't it be long, eventually we want these people out there every day telling us which way we are all headed.

I don't like the idea of someone buying the election and to the extent that people are treating Trump unfairly, I hope he can see that he is an unfair person to run against.  Everyone else is putting their butt out there in public whereas he is basically someone in charge, whether or he becomes President or not.  His being President is like having a king in Britain.  The point is not that royalty gets to point at people with their middle finger with the Patriot Act(though you would hope that this "royal" has training in how to be royal), the point is that THIS person should be the max.  NOONE should be richer than the King.  He is the line in the sand.  He is the reality check for people in charge.  The people on his payroll earn what PEOPLE should earn.  The profit he makes is what people should expect.  He should be the standard.  People that are richer than the king have more power than the king.  His influence in congress might be greater, his ability to fungus the water might be better, he might even be able to afford a larger police or cartel military force than an actual city.

Hi Mexico!

This is why there needs to be a standard.  And this "figurative king" must also be public.  Because if there is someone that has MORE power than the President whose in charge of keeping us safe... are we REALLY safe?  And that's why Britain has a king.  People understand that if there is one great monarch or rich person or elite person that is of "those we don't speak of" or from the MAFIA... that that person should be well-known and should be in the public eye, and should be... hateable.

Why hateable you wonder?  Well just think what happens now with Obama.  Do we blame him for Benghazi?  Do we blame Bush for Iraq?  Do we blame Reagan for Iran-Contra?  Do we blame Clinton for porn and gay people?  Whatever we decide, it's necessary that we be able to speak of our hate, and for our leader to be hateable.  If we can't hate our leader, we start to hate, what...  our police, our judges, our media, our CIA maybe, our neighborhood watch volunteers, our neighbors?  It's just a matter of time before this hate manifests itself into something irrational.  So that's why our leader has to "take a hit for the team" as Tom Cruise said in that one movie.  He has to own it, so people can feel that someone still has control of the country.  If you go OFF-mission, there is no mission because there is no team.

So to keep the country together the most important thing we will need from our leader is charm.  He will have to earn it and then he will have to keep it.  Oh and he needs to have a bunch of FU money also because the truth is people attack leaders.  If you follow William Shatner's twitter it gets pretty boring sometimes but at least you can see the reality of what it's like to be famous and trying to fight off people that don't think you are too funny.  I am guilty perhaps of wanting him to be more like Captain Kirk even though he is just an actor and is guilty, like all actors, of having a totally different and more selfish attitude in real life.  It's like Gillian Anderson.  She is a beautiful if unrealistic doctor/FBI agent in X-Files, but should I expect her to be lifelong paladin who remains single and fights the good fight vs criminals everywhere in real life and triesto act only THOSE roles where she is the good guy?  See?  It's hard to be charming but if you take the time to get to know those people, over time you can see their good will and hopefully that is enough.

You know I even had good feelings for Brent Spiner.  At first, I immediately started treating him like Data on Twitter and later I realized that quoting Data stuff gets old when you are trying to get NEW roles.  My mistake.  I have the entire TNG collection and even though everyone supposedly liked Picard or Riker the best, it was really his portrayal of Data that won me over in the end.  He was the charming part of Picard, like Spock was charming part of Kirk.  Did anyone really like Kirk?  We sure liked it when he kicked butt though didn't we?  That's why people don't like me I think.  I am the Kirk part of me and my best friend who is the Spock part.  And now it's just Kirk and Kirk isn't very likeable without Spock, perhaps.

Yeah so getting back to Trump, (he getting ready to pick his Spock yet?), I think we can all see that what we want from our new President as opposed to Obama is a whole lot of people getting fired.  Snowden found such and such about the NSA... people need to be fired.  Healthcare.gov doesn't work... people need to be fired.  Benghazi problems and we don't know who to blame and here comes Hillary people to "explain" things... people need to be fired.  Guy likes to make fun of my wife throwing her weight around... knowing I gotta tag that in like an hour thirty... FIRED!

Many reasons we like Trump but what I want most from him is for him to be as skilled as Obama is at speeches and as wise as he is about reality.  But I don't expect he is AT ALL skilled at reality really.  I just saw a nasty VICE program about his involvement with the Saudi city Dubai and I don't think his view of unskilled workers is one that I agree with to be honest but it did re-inforce my belief that we must dominate this planet FIRST, we must dominate Israel FIRST, dominate Mexico FIRST, dominate the muslims FIRST, dominate his staff and his people FIRST, before we can institute the reforms needed in minimum wage, rent control, climate change and population control and in abortion.

Cruel to be kind...

What?  Am I not charming?

You don't think that, after we got finished dominating the planet and gave Trump all that power (like the Patriot Act), that he would just selfishly KEEP it do you?

Would Joel Osteen keep it?  Would Tom Cruise?  Oh you get it now!

PS. Would Oprah keep it?  Bwahaha, just had to throw that in there.
