Student loans

Hey you think that if SECupp marries a guy named Mr. Alice that she would like being called SEAlice? FFT

She is fine btw , praise be to you, Sarah, and try not to show a picture of yourself in a bikini TOO SOON because I would lose it. I copied this article from a comment page on an SECupp article in the New York Daily News.

Remember how well it went when Reagan decided to allow "young people" to help fund education? Students were defaulting left and right and Reagan was sternly saying in his speeches "Students must pay their loans!"

Then he took away the ability to default on student loans.

Fast forward to today and high education costs and people with life long debts and you wonder if the next civil war will be fought to free the "new" slaves. Because now these loans follow you throughout your life and though people that "got free" of their debt can't know what it is like to constantly fall behind and pay late or have your confidence siderailed because you "decided not" to pay your loan again so you could go out, they can see that this practice is "not good" for the country. They can also see that people haven't risen up and restored the old practice of allowing bankruptcy in order to be free of debt.

So what will happen you think in this case? What will happen when "young people" get locked into paying? What will be the effect of people paying a penalty even though they have done nothing wrong? Business as usual, pay a penalty, skiip a payment, too bad I was born broke , where's my hausenfeffah?!
