That's not a unicorn

BLM WHM SMN SCH THF RNG BRD MNK WAR DRK PLD > 99

Haven't seen a lot of ruckus.

In reality, it's hard to tell what lawful evil is. I have probably explained evil to you many times but today, here I go again.

In the game Dungeons & Dragons, there are NINE different religions. These are ways of thinking that predominate your decisions. Obviously, it's difficult to KEEP to one religion because freedom is all about being free to make choices and the more you add laws the less freedom there is, so it's hard to be lawful, but easy to explain. On the opposite side it's easy to be evil and chaotic but you can't really FOLLOW that as a religion because any time you feel like it, you are gonna do... good things! It's also harder to explain.  These are religions that spell YOUR DOOM.  The more you understand it, the more you prefer it, perhaps, and talking about it makes it clear to others that YOU might be evil.

Chaos is magic. To be an agent of magic is to seek the darkness. Usually that makes you a karaoke star or a comic or a peon of the entertainment industry like say, a rock star. A better term for these is BARD. Magic is when something happens that you intend, but noone blamed you. Harassing people, vandalism, getting passed over for a promotion, making people forget what they were gonna say... these are indications that someone is doing magic. There are laws and people that break laws go to JAIL, but these people stay out of jail somehow, and over time they... get BETTER at what they do.

That's why witches get burned. It's been so long since they first started doing magic that they are experts at making people doubt everything. Even when given drugs to kill them or exiled or exorcised... a witch is so PRACTICED at manipulating feelings, that people will not be sure that she has been dealt with unless they WATCH her burn. Of course this is perilous because who do(voodoo?) you think we are actually burning... probably not the witch.

Ok, so getting back to the point, I am gonna cover the first of nine today because I could honestly write a book on this. This is ALL that I have been working on my whole life is determining how to make clear what people's religions are. It's too simple to say selfish and selfless, or good and evil, or homey and wild.

Following the law, going to church, denying that evil exists, is the BEST way to keep your sanity intact. If everything you do is based on faith and the truth then you need not worry. That's why children get taught at church to have faith and to believe in Jesus as our savior, because he is forgiving. And because this is so, most people expect to be forgiven and are forgiving when carelessness or selfishness occurs from a church-going individual. As long as he confesses, he can blurt out his wrong and everyone will know it and noone will doubt that he can do wrong again.

To BE one of these people, you can NEVER deal in magic. That includes gossiping, passing judgment, vandalizing, harassing, ACTING AT ALL against someone that is evil. You must let GOD judge them, and go back to your world, where evil does not exist and your life is in harmony, guarded by your priest or your HANDLER or your pseudo-judge.

Now remember we live in a society, not just your little church. In society, church takes care of the lawful and good people... THAT FOLLOW THOSE THINGS I just said. There are still EIGHT other religions to contend with if you want to rule over society. Remember my theory on NODES. The center of the family suffers so that the rest don't have to, and that is how a family survives, it's how the network stays together. If the husband and wife separate, the network is looser less strong, but if they are married, they suffer MORE but the children are happier and more calm. This is how all those different churches must be. I play this game on the XBOX called Hexic. It's really tough to master but mastering it makes you a master of nodes. These families you see, that are networks, can then be grouped around the same color nodes to make a black pearl, which is usually where the mayor of a town falls. He may be good or he may be evil, but that just depends on what flavor family you have. If you don't have enough churches, then your mayor is probably a black pearl of ANOTHER flavor.

So to define these: three main trains of thought. GOOD EVIL VOID. Thor Loki Odin. I don't really worship them, but use them to simplify explaining stuff, mostly as logic tokens. Evil is not chaos, evil is someone organized against you. You believe in these laws and they believe in those. Basically you are a citizen and this Lawful OTHER PERSON is an alien. He is still lawful but he is EVIL to you... lawful evil. That explains most MEXICANS that still feel some patriotism to their home country or it explains organized crime perhaps who have their own laws as a subset but no that's confusing, organized crime is a rooted in magic, not laws so they are different.

Magic then is chaos. Animals are ruled by magic. When humans revert to being apey or rapey, that's magic. People "understand" how they feel but mostly it's justification for not following the laws, like sexual assault or driving drunk. People, men mostly, will understand sexual assault or other drunk drivers will understand driving "slightly" drunk but again these people may be all good but they are chaotic good. They break laws, but people let them get away with it... for a while. Churches may allow these sometimes but that makes it a not so lawful good church yeah?

Have to protect the members right?

Ok so tired now, I said before that people without religions can still be good, but there is no such thing as a person without a religion. Even a lack of a structure is a structure because that absence takes up space. the only way to not have religion is to not exist. So before I mentioned a bunch of famous people that were all unicorns but no... I wouldn't go so far as to call Rachel a unicorn.

People that deal in magic have to maintain the node. They have to suffer so that the whole network survives. People in a chaotic node don't suffer as much but they DO deal in gossip and harassment. For the sake of keeping the node they do "questionable things". They are as willing to follow the law as not just to keep the family safe.

Do you remember the movie LEGEND? It is such a great story that as I learn more and more about magic (mostly by suffering through it) I understand the movie better. It is expert. Not only does all of society, fall to darkness when one of the unicorns is killed but you will notice that the entire movie... takes place in the woods... FAR from a city or from laws. The whole movie is an exercise in magic.

But to be a unicorn, you must BELIEVE in magic and that means you must have your gang and your mate and your family or troupe and you must believe in "good things"... like Alec Baldwin, no not like Alec Baldwin but maybe.

If you are a unicorn, all of society FEELS a tremendous loss when you are gone, because your charm was what was holding it all together.

PS. On second thought, maybe Rachel is a unicorn. I just thought of Ann Coulter and I think of her as sort of a Valkyrie. She is SO righteous, that I BELIEVE her words as coming from the heart.  Even in indignation, when calling people pussies, I can feel what she feels which is a resolve unwavering, something holy that comes from GOD or from goodness.  If she lead a battle I would follow her into it and call myself lucky if she would have me.  She is the furthest thing from a dream girl.  She's a phoenix.  The whole of righteousness would be commanded not by her charm but by her example.  Rachel is not like her.  She every bit her equal in intellect but I sense she would not engage an enemy.  Her power IS charm.  And unlike Ann who would have be by her side if she would have me, Rachel I would let go.  I would let her be destroyed.  But the world would be a darker place without her...  I would be a darker person.

I don't know why but even the first couple of times seeing the movie, that final scene, after the unicorn is saved, which allows the sun to come out and words to the music sound off  "... loved by the sun~" which of course reminds you of Jesus, like Jesus could be saved, right? Ridiculous, it's SO ridiculous, I'm crying. I always cry during that scene.
