As hard as it is to write when I am feeling up, it's even harder to do it when I'm feeling down.  Ok so today I am going to talk about Doctor Strange.  Doctor Strange is a time lord. I guess you all can see that from his "strange" antics.  He is working against the Dark Lord Dormammu from the "dark" dimension.

As you can  imagine, everything powerful exists in the dark dimension.  And there is no "time" there.  I have told you all before that people with an agenda, tend to be evil.  People like Jon Snow, from Game of Thrones, know nothing, because people that are NOT of the agenda world, are like sheep, they LITERALLY know nothing about their future.  So it sounds like she's calling him stupid, but it's quite an honor to "know nuthin" because it's a testament to what a good person you are.  Moreover, people know that when they've done something bad... that bad is going to re-visit them, this means they know "something".  "The bill comes due" is what Mordo said about the ancient one's use of the dark dimension to extend life, because evil causes the opposite evil, see that? But THIS is the most important lesson of the show is that it is HARD to get someone trustworthy holed in at the top job.  Power corrupts and that number one spot is rife with opportunities to abuse.  And the world is binary.  If you want to be successful at anything you must realize that you will need a "black" part of your whiteness, or a "white" part of your blackness.  Whatever you are, you will need to understand the other side.  You will need to understand the BLACKNESS.

You might think, well I'll walk into a bar insult the WHOEVER thinks they're in charge and then just wait for prejudice to find you and that that will be all the lesson you need about slavery, and that might work but you could also just read this blog.

The ancient one is like Queen Elizabeth.  You can tell you have got it good as a civilian but you KNOW it's gonna be just a crapshoot as far as the next monarch.  I have this theory that monarchs must be good people because they need to keep the country together, but it's also obvious that other monarchs sometimes "don't care" about keeping the country together as much.

Ok so before I go off on a tangent, (side opposite/side adjacent), (30/60/90), let's get back to Strange.  Unlike what I have told you about having an agenda being a bad thing, in the movie Strange is what it's like when a new person FINDS OUT he can control an agenda.  That's what his EYE represents, his Eye of Agamotto.  He can see the future and he can change it, much like the guy from Next.  Now as you ponder that remember that Doctor Strange came from a very influential group... the doctors.  There is perhaps nothing more important to a city or society than its doctors.  If there is an agenda for the city the first thing is to figure out where the hospital goes.  Next comes the police and then the whatever else people think they need.  If this mystical spirit, this groupthink had a name, like Queen Elizabeth, it would want to keep the city together.  And so it goes for the state and then for the country.  You can see that at first slight plans would go into place, lets say for a war or for a disaster, then further plans would be drawn up for things like criminals or corrupt officials, things much less important but still impactful.  And as the "plans" called for "emergency powers" like in Star Wars these powers can be abused, which is why they usually don't want to give those to ONE person.

Now I am all for a person that is trustworthy but that is HARD, so you might think I would prefer to give it to a group of people instead, like in Trump's case but no.  Groups of people are the worst, it only takes one or two TERRIBLE people to make small groups of people ALL AGREE to do terrible things.  It's like I said in the last blog, ALL people must believe in God for God to be present... and so it's much easier if there are few people(<5) than if there is a small group.  In fact God is unlikely in a small group so it's important to keep that 50/50 chance there as much as possible.

Ok so finally I have to say that being a time lord has problems.  Obviously it means you have ultimate power but it also means people WANT your power so you must keep it hidden.  You can't RULE, you must be STRANGE.  You must be FAMOUS like Doctor Strange and yet be loved, and yet be an outcast.  Never again can you go to your old haunts because all you have learned will be at risk.  But you see how magic works right?  Only Doctor Strange could be this person BECAUSE of his old reputation which it took a LONG time for him to grow.  He was a farmer right?  He grew it and then it changed but people continued to love and respect him even though his hands were "cursed" by not being able to do things, any of his old things. (You'll notice how all his "old" powers were taken at the moment he thinks it's ok to speed, while everyone else is going normal speed, like he's better.)

But that's what magic is is gangs.  Bunches of people causing things to happen for a "magician" that is "above the law", perhaps WITH police help.  Usually dragons fly above the law and they breathe curses on people they don't like which burns away their reputation and they look for gold and hoard it because they worship gold and it's easy to get everyone to worship gold since you can taste and touch gold, unlike God.

But that is only a belief.  A gold coin is worthless if people don't believe it.  That's what's so great about our country is that we believe so much that we can trust the money we use, we can trust the dollar, but that all falls away if we don't trust the government.  And if we don't then the rest of the world won't trust our money either.  This is why we fight for belief in this country is to keep not only people's trust in money intact but also so that the people that already have money, don't accidentally get a CHUNK of it voted into other people's pockets... because THAT could happen!

Ok, so now you understand dragons and Doctor Strange and belief and about God, what else is there... well, one last thing there is to teach you...
