Circumcission has to do with...

BLM:90 WHM:90 SMN:90 THF:90 WAR:90 DRK:90 RNG:90 PLD:90

You know when you have a disease, if you try to conquer it yourself, you find out things that help and some things that really don't. So today, I am going to give you some facts(albeit my facts) of what works or makes sense to me based on things that I have had a problem with.

I used to have dandruff. The shampoo that helps this is supposed to get rid of it but I find that a curious things happens now. My mother has always had some sense of dandruff and since she is from Costa Rica she pretty much believes everything. In fact if something is out of place in my opinion she will usually side against me on it. She always has. That is probably where I get my "devil's advocate" approach to many things is perhaps by upbringing.

So I step into her shower, because my father recently had spinal surgery and is using his entire setup in the main bathroom, and find Selsun Blue in there. I used to love that shampoo because it had a nice menthol after-effect on my scalp once I was finished. A little later in the day I find my scalp itching. Now I am not used to this because I used to have a lot of money and it was all Paul Mitchell shampoo from the day I first brought it home and realized how good it cleans and I guess because of it's nice smell which was manly yet somehow fruity at the same time. Don't ask, don't tell.

So I realized that along those lines, of products actually making you need them more, that a whole world of possibilities existed which now that I put it all together is really more mathematical rather than just a few evil men trying to curb population.

Once you have something ingenius, the first trend is to expand it to everyone, that's the upward trend. As it reaches everyone, the expansion gets smaller. And as the need for the product to continue to produce gets more insistent, despite less expansion, expansion starts to drop faster. This is the law of diminishing returns. If you graph it, it looks like the normal curve. If you ever wonder what normal is, this is it.

So since everyone doesn't want to have to use dandruff shampoo the rest of their lives after they cure themselves, there has to be some reason for them to keep buying it. Hence the slight little itch which if you aren't me who knows they haven't had dandruff for like 10 years, might seem like the shampoo didn't get it all.

Such was the case with Citibank statements. And I use this example a lot to show what corruption is. A long time ago, perhaps when we were still AT&T Universal Card, people called to say that their statements could use some improvement. It was pretty straightforward looking but once we started to market stuff on it and started to print on both sides to save paper, it started to get a bit jumbled. So a statement re-design team was invented.

This statement re-design team really managed to improve the statement a great deal and in less than a year, perhaps a lot less, the statement was fixed.

One problem, the statement re-design team was now no longer needed. So soon after the manager was probably told that he would be reassigned and after the workers were told they would have to get back on the phones, (which everyone that could spit would tell you was the worst job) the statements started to get "improved" even further. In fact, it got so hard to read people started calling about their statements again and in no time at all, even we in customer service were confused and couldn't read them. There were promotion codes here and debits and credits started to show up which was ridiculous for a customer to look at but hey if you were anything in business you know what debits and credits are. Which may explain what a negative debit is... but it doesn't. COME ON FOOL you KNOW what a negative debit is right just subtract twice MOREON! Oh wait, a credit is what we give customers when we are subtracting but if what they are doing is borrowing then the money we give them is a debit to their checkbook but if we are explaining their statement and it's positive then it's always gonna be called a ... who knows.

Yeah welcome to why we need accountants even though that is the most BS job out there. And what's more stupid is to have tax preparers because it's hard to count what we owe. And wait more on that side, what if it's possible to tell where our economy is going, then we should have economists!

It's sad to be 40+ and realize that all of this is just a mask for simple stuff that everyone should be able to understand. Medicine is getting like that, teeth are getting like that, even laws are getting like that. Wouldn't it be nice to know how your car works before you buy it and not have to hook it up to some machine that you aren't gonna see again the rest of your life but that every mechanic uses every day.

OK, sidetracked again. So that is ANOTHER reason corporations don't "start" new projects that improve stuff that doesn't need fixing. Another example would be the call quality team. We, our managers, would choose the best performers from the customer service team(aka. phones) [aka= also known as]to sit-in on calls from customers to find out how we were doing. For a while it seemed like a good idea. Managers could tell how hard we were working and they would see how improvements made call times shorter. But then it became a real waste of time and a headache. People would give grades much lower than normal. People would get fired for the one instance that they got listened to at this meeting while they dogged or were getting dogged by a customer. People off the phones, in an effort to get stay off the phones would begin to secure their positions on the quality team which eventually got to have their own department. Small wonder, when they asked me in Business Card if I wanted to start up the quality team I said no. I pointed out what a waste of time it was and the negative impact it had on morale and that people were essentially "doin' nothin, gettin paid". So on that note we tried doing the Business Card without a quality team where managers, instead of associates woudl listen to calls and rate their employees based on the calls they heard instead of in front of a group. Result, the highest per customer profit of any SBU in Citibank. Yeah, that's in the world!

Soon after, people found out about it and started to corrupt it from outside. The fraud department started to listen to calls and noted instances of risk to the credit card because our associates were acting badly which I have to say was due to this one associate that was getting treated badly by this old lady that should not have been part of the group who in the end did us all in by getting my manager fired. Staffing control found out that our associates that were so happy doing their jobs that I had tried to make as easy as possible, could now take regular calls that were not Business card. This gave the one guy who thought of it a promotion and made my department a whole lot busier and perhaps more mainstream. Improvement? I don't think so. And after my manager got fired instead of moving me up the chain which I really didn't want because my philosophy was to do as little as possible as well as possible, they hired this hunter/seeker black woman straight out of the ROOTS epic to show us how slaves were treated. The more I gave suggestions or showed my disdain for things, the more errors I got, even though I was in the SME (subject matter experts) team where if we made errors it's not for lack of knowledge, it's cuz she made them up! And that was the beginning of the end of my career.

Hmmf, sidetracked again. So instead of 40 pages of BS about my job let's get back to things that go wrong with your body. Another problem that had lasted a long time is skin itching. I can't blame this on a soap or anything though I might, but I have tried switching soaps and though it helps I have found that most of the problem lies in your bed. I watched shows that would explain how mites eat your old skin or freshly disposed of skin and that made sense to me. I started to change my sheets more often but the show said that even this was not enough and that you would have to change the mattress and the pillows and that even then, because they were so small, that they would continue to exist.

It seemed to me then that all things that weaken you are like these pests. Once they get a foothold of the sweet meat, they propogate and propogate and even with a full bath, some of them cling to the ends of your hairs and later mate with the sedentary ones in your bed to continue the population.

One solution, shave! Yeah I have been shaving my pubes for nary on 10 years now and I must say if it were normal to shave everything, I would. It makes no sense to have any sort of hairs on your body unless you work outside. People that work outside must sweat because that is part of the exhaust of hard work and this sweat is pure gold to pests which comes not only with water but with fresh waste that your body is exhuming, heh. So for this we need hair. Hair makes the sweat get off the skin and takes the pests along with it, which keeps your skin healthy and allows most pests to be shaken off with the sweat when it gets too much. You ever notice that you only have hair where your sweat glands are? Well now you know why.

So now we get to why I am writing today. Circumcision. Sorry I was 2nd in my spelling bee in the 4th grade so I'm not the best spieler. I was on my way to watch another movie but it was 12.50 for the XD and 7.25 for regular so I didn't watch anything. But on my way back I was listening to NPR and they started to talk about it. I used to wonder a lot about it. I am circumcised so I wonder if that's why I don't kick people's asses when they deserve it. Sure it could be that I am too much like Jesus, it could be that I have respect for the law, it might be that I don't feel little wobble-weeble people should have to hit with 50 lbs. of me for every stupid thing that's insulting, but I would rather think that it's because I'm circumcised. Yeah, in the bible it says that all the first born were killed and that because Jesus survived, he became outspoken. At first, it seemed to me that people didn't speak back because they felt it was improper but just maybe it means that they had a big brother. Me, being the oldest, have wondered if maybe that's why I challenge everything, because I'm like Jesus. OK, some of you gotta stop laughting... It also could be said that maybe it's because this king periodically killed all the first borns that families were kept docile. I mean it makes sense right. What woudl this world be like if I hadn't lived? My entire family is already pretty much on the tame side but without me there and with a nice big FU staring back at them their whole lives, they might not have done the many things they did. So it seems that circumcission is a similar step in that direction.

Imagine that you have this religion and they want all of their marriages to be forever and imagine that the men are not from Africa, well then the right thing to do is to circumcize the boys. That little rubber lining or whatever it is is what keeps the seal.

That is what makes sex safe from disease and from AIDS. That is what keeps the pests out and the good boys in. Small wonder that taking that seal away and having all men out there try this and that with different partners in places that have no seal(like for example the rectum) suddenly get pests in the wrong place. It's not brain surgery. Circumcission caused AIDS and to remove the AIDS, it's gonna be a slow process. You gotta throw away the mattress. Endymitriosis is something where there are pests that live in the vagina. This can happen from unhealthy men having sex with women. Another reason to "keep the seal".

It amazes me to hear people speak about stuff and defend circumcission as a tradition worth keeping. It's worth keeping if we are going to have one partner in life, yes. Maybe that was the point. But that's not how a democracy is run. Maybe we ought to kill off all the left-handers, like me, because we know they are gonna turn out to be rebels, but the truth is that people like me are gonna see though what we are taught and re-assess what is right based on the culture of the time.

Well, let's see I have cured cancer and AIDS. Now one more thing to solve and done. BTW, name's Hohito, not Hirohito like the failed short emperor that thought he was going to make his people the rulers of the world but somehow knew all along that he wasn't.

Oh I almost forget to add something that really doesn't help just to show you that, meh I might be wrong.  I once used a Q-tip to clean my ear.  It seems like a good idea but if you don't know what your ear looks like you just shove and shove and hope some crap comes out on the Q-tip.  Well one day it was itching really bad, not the least of which is perhaps due to my nasty pillow that I should have replaced, and so I shove and shove and pop I burst through something that I really shoudn't have.  So I know that first thing I wanna do is disinfect so I get some hot water and pour it in there but there is still pain so I wait awhile and soon it starts to itch again and I am really worried that these pests are gonna get inside my brain so I get this nice idea about peroxide.

Peroxide is like the miracle cure in my book.  It is the simplest thing to make.  It is H2O2.  Regular water is H2O and nothing combines with it which makes it one of the most stable molecules in the planet.  That's why flushing ANYTHING with water is guaranteed not to cause cancer or AIDS or give you any kind of infection.  In fact an infection is when pests take over and start to eat your body because of some sore you didn't clean from pests(disinfect).  So using peroxide,(why do they give stuff these names why dont they just call it the chemical symbol and be done with it oh yeah cuz if it's you talking then its H20, if its an accountant then its water) is the ideal way of cleaning something. Usually that extra O in the H2O2 bonds with water pests are seeking to infest your sore or I guess maybe it blasts the pests.  You can tell when your cut or sore is clean because the solution will stop bubbling and will simply appear to be water running over your sore.  You can use this stuff in your mouth for the same effect and poof watch your dental bills drop.  But like many parts of your body if you clean it too well, you actually weaken yourself to other dangers.  If you drink too much, you have more problem with digestion and later on with taking a dump as many of you may already have noticed.  If you smoke too much, your lungs may not do a good job of getting rid of some foreign thing that will give you cancer.

BTW, cigarettes don't cause cancer.  Thought you knew...

And if you clean your teeth too much, you are gonna have more trouble with stuff getting caught in your teeth because what you have done is actually cleaned off the enamel that helps keep your spaces tight, which may cause you to wonder if I think flossing is a good idea.  Flossing < 30 = no.

Also, it's a good idea to pick your nose.  I don't condone doing it while talking to someone or while eating in public but those hairs in there are doing just what the rest of your hairs are meant to do, to keep pests and junk from resting on your skin, either in your nose or in your lungs or throat.  So if you wanna do a good job, go to the bathroom, turn on hot water and rinse those nails, keep the soap in your hands but rinse your nails like to or three times and then grab a paper towel and stick it all the way up your nose.  Pull out the boogers with your fingers cuz why not you are about to rinse them and whatever is nasty about your boogers is covered by your own clean mucus and then rinse the towel in hot water and clean off the rest of your nasal hair and poof, no lung cancer, your lungs are running smoothly getting filtered as efficiently as possible and you can probably even smoke if you want to, you have my permission.  If you get cancer, it was your wife.  Hah!

Moreover, clean your nails often, because that is where most pests gather is nearest to where your most recent dead material is.  Think orifices.  Your nose, ears, eyes, nails, toenails, genitals all have pests just waiting to eat any fresh waste you are about to deposit in the form of puss or boogers or toejam or whatever.  So if you wanna keep clean, concentrate on these.  Oh and if you can afford it get an air purifier.  It's not a lot of electricity or maybe it is but if you clean that filter and realize in your head that all of that could have been filtered by your lungs, you are gonna see the value of it for yourself.  And btw, when we get allergies to stuff, don't ignore them.  They tell you something is wrong so sneeze away and then get away or find the litterbox then clean it.  Our nose is so that we know something is poison and if just go on breathing what we are allergic to, don't be surprised when you got a big glob of cancer and think wow I really should have ran over that deer!

Pick your nose and like it.  Well who knew that that has a lot to do with circumcission after all...

You are all probably wondering about my smugness now, so let me tell you what happens when you put even a slight bit of hydrogen peroxide in your ear after you manage to make a really big sore in your eardrum, and this pain went on for days to which I eventually just had to twist up a big towel and shove it all the way in there and just twist it and replace it as the wound healed.

This is what happened:
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHH!!!

And if you think I felt stupid in the stupidest way, you would be correct.

Housing decline

BLM:90 WHM:90 SMN:90 THF:90 WAR:90 DRK:90 RNG:90 PLD:90

The housing decline was due to two things. If there is a relationship between interest rates and housing then when housing starts go up, that is when people building houses build more houses, then the interest rate must go up. That's something predicted by economics. So banks lending this money to fund the housing increase should have less money to lend when a lot of new construction is begun. This keeps the value of money stable or in equilibrium.

As people buy less houses, then the interest rate drops, housing goes up and new loans can be made because of this.

With regulation this system works in a cycle, keeping the value of money stable while everything around it fluctuates seeking opportunity that invariably appears either in lower rates for people or in rates for banks.

So de-regulating money supplies say in the derivatives market, is a way for banks to forego higher priced loans by borrowing more money through a different place. So instead of having this money constrained, they have more to lend even though they shouldn't.

So if you are underwater and need air, you go up for air, take another breath and take time to become normal again before you go dive in deeper. And if someone selfishly drops you an aqua-lung, what are you gonna do give up the lung or go down deeper and get that lung? Yeah, you go for the lung. Sadly while all this is happening, you are getting used to more and more pressure and pretty soon you got new problems.

So meh, it's about as criminal as drinking too much. It's not wrong unless they catch you and sometimes it's not even that because it's a system. If it's set up that way then it's meant to work that way. Too bad for the rest of the world that has to find out the systems were faulty... too late.

Red equals meat

BLM:90 WHM:90 SMN:90 THF:90 WAR:90 DRK:90 RNG:90 PLD:90

I got a new idea. The Jesus Raygun. Yep. It shoots people with a white light and a little reader turns either red or blue.

It occurred to me today that if wavelengths were readable, if my mind were readable, then people could read others' minds and see what they were thinking.

I was watching Battle: Los Angeles today and one scene there is a part where the lead, the two face guy from Batman, tells the little boy who he promised would make it and whose father died that he was the bravest Marine he ever met. A touching scene because they are all on the rescue chopper about to make it home and the Sargeant is about to go out alone and try one last thing to take back the city. His crew doubts him because rumors tell of his losing men under his command when he was able to make it out. At this point the Marines jump out after him laying waste to any further doubts he had about them.

I only have doubts when it comes to people who attack others. I have always had the good happenstance I suppose of interacting with people who admired me or at least thought I was charming or interesting. This was a long time ago... granted.

In the latest Resident Evil movie I was noticing once that a guy was caged up and everyone around him was worried that he was dangerous and right about the time he is explained to Milla Jovovich's character and as she gets told that something about his eyes tells him he could not be trusted.

So then she turns to him and asks him what he sees when he looks into her eyes. Hahahaha. Cuz it doesn't take a 40 year green beret to tell you just about anybody caught in a building with a city full of zombies is perhaps just as dangerous.

Then I had to ask myself, which is the good guys? I mean all of them are killers shooting their way this way and that and trying to find Arcadia for the sake of taking refuge and enlisting other non-zombies, who shoot people.

So what is it that makes the people people and not zombies? There is some clue in the movie that tells you how to tell them apart. What is it? Do the zombies and not the people have manners? Yes they get right out of the way of the bigger zombies so that they can get their bites in first. Do they have better hygiene? Maybe. But the biggest thing that should come across to you is that the zombies attack and the good guys do not attacked until they are attacked. So unlike many other countries that attack first and take what they want, we the US and all Americans are the good guys. We don't attack unless we are attacked first.

And that's why this gun is gonna be so useful when it comes out. We already know about wavelengths from my previous post. And we know that somehow someway we should be able to tell if a person is sending off some of THOSE signals. You know the really aggressive, testosterone, I attack people and like it, ones. You know, the male ones. Some females are guilty of this too so yay for equality and yay for the Jesus gun.

So when you get shined with this fantastic gun that decides whether you are poison or meat. Blue equals annoying or anti-social or agreesively passive. Red equals meat.

I mean if we took this gun all around the world, we could use all of this information and rejected people to help train soldiers who didn't think killing people was necessary.

Follow up

BLM:90 WHM:90 SMN:90 THF:90 WAR:90 DRK:90 RNG:90 PLD:90

I think we should legalize everything. In line with the thinking from the previous post, thinking we can do something can be done if we put it out there and then mend it.

I great plan tomorrow is not as good as a good plan right now. Some general said that maybe George Patton.

Mona Lisa smile. Great movie.

If you like to look at women and wonder what goes through their mind this movie will answer that for you. It's like a big room full of democrats. Behind closed doors you see that they are loving each other, embracing and playing and telling each other who's got their interests at heart and what they really think about their latest boyfriend.

As an extreme example you can see what would go wrong with having too much democracy. It would be run by women and choice not by men and power. It would have intellectuals deciding if this teacher should be fired for "helping" a fellow woman even though it is illegal. So what I said before goes that actors will run the government.

A clear mistake would be to put an actor to run a Republican government. It does a good job of confusing people yes, but it makes everyone trust in someone that doesn't know about power and pushing and fighting for what is right.

People in general are of two mindsets. Male and Female.

Heh, that's no joke. Being of a female mindset only works up until someone slaps you. Then it's time to fight and even women will agree that you can't decide what side of your face you want to get hit on if you want to ever look good again.

So to have a dumb republican of noble salt like GW Bush is at least honest. It tells people that we ain't discussing it. It explains what every good republican knows is that if we don't fight for freedom, we lose it.

I will be the first to say let's fight if there are no options, or if the rest of the world thinks they got enuf stuff to surprise us and take us over. They are neanderthals intellectually. So though I reason that democrats are superior for our own people, republicans are what we need if we get attacked.

It's preposterous to have in our history, especially since all of this will become more and more clear as the years roll by, that we got attacked just as a Republican president was about to take power like in 9-11. It's about as surprising as a Republican Vice President taking over for an assassinated Democratic president like JFK. Was Reagan's assassination attempt that surprising? Who knows. But meh, it's history now and there's no use in fixing the past but there is use in preparing for the future and understanding people's programming.

Democrats are people that believe in others goodwill, Republicans are people that believe in another's use. What good are you? is something I used to hear from this lady from New York. She would say it over and over and I wouldn't get what she meant. It still puzzles me even now but I would rather think that I am useful as it applies to my world that I want to improve than as it applies to her view. But democrats want others to benefit, so therein lies the weakness and the opportunity for republicans and people from New York to get you to do something for them.

In the old days or as a matter of fact in Dragon Age there is a part where a young boy is refused by his lady until he learns to hunt. Very republican thinking and in many cultures young boys are "taught" to hunt at a young age so that they know how to survive in a grown world.

But can we apply this to women?

Should men learn to take hits from women who reject them? Should the question flow of a man's lips like an arrow from a bow? Should women be treated merely as prey or a prize?

This question more than any other has confused me all my life. Many people think I am gay just because I take my time with forwardness. Some people perhaps think I am afraid. At this point in my life I am incredibly fragile socially so it might be true now, but I wasn't afraid.

Women have as much of a duty to talk and make cues as a man does to respond to them. I never thought that I had to make that much of an effort in asking a woman as I had in showing off my abilities. And to have those abilities I needed to practice. In my mind most everything I tried to do I was exceptional at. Still, it never dawned on me that I had to "hit" on a girl. So I never did it or at least not often.

Sadly, other men would instantly become aware that I was interested in a girl but since I never would hit on a girl, I worked myself into a little cage of desire and failure. All this for showing women how a man that is not a hunter gets a girl. The few women I have spent time with were amazing though so I thank the Lord that I had my time with them.

I would call each of them brave and I guess masculine for women because if they had not worked hard at being with me, we probably would not have got together.

In college, I was hanging around with some really rough types, well rough types for a Baptist College, and they would love to talk about girls and fighting and the one guy was always wrestling with anyone who would do it. One time he badgered me and badgered me and I would not let him get to me and finally I grabbed him by the hair and planted him in the seat with some help and yelled at him then I got out of the car.

Later he came to my room looking for a fight and my roommate, a black guy told him I was asleep and then threatened to kick his ass if he didn't go away. About a day or two later he was over it. It didn't feel like a fight at all but I did lose my temper perhaps for the first time in public.

Another day, I was riding in the car and smiling and he was riding in the back with his girl and she asks me something and then slaps me. I was gonna smack the crap out of her but he was there and I wondered what the heck is going on. Do I bring the worst out of people? I was 19 or so and I'm still puzzled by that.

I have a very baptist democratic older brother caring attitude towards people but I don't believe in showing fear or remorse. I don't wrong others and if I'm in a fight, it's their fault.

So my confusion continues. The saving continues as I have said in the past. Saving my innocence for a great woman and moment when to have her and love her will seem more like I stumbled upon God rather than feeling I have to haul around another prize until I need to show it off again.

I want to have her be the maul, the hammer, the angel, the bow, sitting on my back or my shoulder, obvious to all that look at me and awesome in her significance. When she speaks, her words should be the salt of George... useful, tasty, good for you, but definitely belonging to George.

But to look at my car you would think, is this the car of a great man? It's a mess. It's bumper is coming off. The lower part of the bumper has been attached to the bumper. The rear view mirrow is loose. The lighter doesn't work. I asked to have that lighter repaired 3 times and it still doesn't work. It's check engine light is still on. I spent more than 6k fixing it and still it is on. It's an Audi. I used to think that if you had a German automobile that all of your problems were over because of their great engineering but what I managed to prove was that, like restaurants, bad managers make a bad business. I might as well have gotten a Hyundai and I would have spent less on repairs. In fact with the money I spent on the Audi, I could have had a new Hyundai. Disposable cars! Who knew it was a good idea? If I had it to do over I definitely would just get a new car every year and piss off the managers on purpose and tell them how much they suck so that the next guy would have to deal with the bad cars I sold them. I mean more trash makes everyone get busy.

And that's the defining credo of Republicans and Corporations. Don't fix it until it absolutely doesn't work. We used to spend money at AT&T on stuff ahead of time like improving the site we used to give customers information.

This is a good example of why Republicans might be a better option.

The site we had was a simple database with fields over here with the balance and over there with the security word and over there the customer's name and address. It took a long time to get used to where everything was and you had to page backwards and forwards to get at different info like APR and promotion information if they signed up for one.

Well someone's great idea was to have it all in one screen and with USTAR, a windows program, they were going to have it all come up on windows and on one screen. This takes like 4 years and really it might as well have been the Jacksonville Courthouse with all the bad press it was getting. It seemed it would never get done. Finally, after a new department opens up for just that reason and after they approve a team of experts to give it a test run and after a lot of trial and error, we get it on the floor.

What a disaster!

Not only was all of the information just as jumbled up as it was on the database, but the system we used to handle it was now taking 3-4 minutes to bring the customer's information up. Everyone was upset and noone knew this would happen until the full press of customer calls was unloaded unto our servers. All of the hardware had to be upgraded to make even a dent on response times and it was many years later before instant info and new software was made available to get pop up info that CSRs could use right away.

It was soon after that that AT&T UCS was bought out by Citibank.

Small wonder, Citibank policy started to not buy new lights, new computers, new coffee makers, or even new anything until the old ones were broken. It seemed to us employess like the monster had invaded Eden but to look back on it all, I can see that it was those do-gooders trying to jump into a new age of technology that cost us our peace of mind.

Sometimes it's better not to upgrade your wife.

I can't imagine anyone preferring to have a hassle with a new girl when you already spent years figuring out the old one. Such is my policy now is that even though I like to improve a little this and a little that, I don't buy whole new anything unless I try it for free first.

Video games a are a good example. I use demos as a way to pass the time and vet out (what the heck does vet mean?) games so as not to have any unpleasant surprises. Halo 2 was a big example as it took the armor slots away and getting used to having only shields was so annoying that I didn't finish the second one and didn't buy the third one. FFXII was another game that I bought for PS2 that didn't have the option to reverse the Y-axis so after a day of trying to run around but always looking the wrong way, I put it down. I eventually got back to it but it was annoying.

I just thought of something. Those people were doing a job of building a website that we didn't need. What luxury! Imagine being those people coming to work everyday dinky this and that and go home and 4 years go by. That is what can go wrong with the democrats. Too much nice guy means she don't get hers.

So it may seem like I talk a lot of democrat and that I am on the gung ho get the republicans out bandwagon but no not really. When it comes to doing a good job the Republicans do it better.

It's just that a good job in politics involves oversight or like I have said... follow up.

More freedom more control

More freedom more control

In a democratic government we care more for ourselves than the rest of the world. We try to find a symbiosis between our businesses and the American individuals that run them.

In a repulican government, the businesses are free to do as they will and usually that means they influence the government to the detriment of the individual.

Well what we need to have is a new democratic party that keeps in line with the intent of the founders of the constitution. The part where unions are allowed and controlled. Where guns are allowed and controlled. Where speech is allowed and controlled. Where marriage and happiness of whatever form is allowed and controlled. Where the latest computer breakthrough is allowed and controlled. Where privacy is allowed and controlled. Where public assembly is allowed and controlled.

It sounds like a different country doesn't it, this country where everything would be under the watchful eye of the government. But it is for us to decide and for us to extricate and for us to demand of our interpreters of the constitution.

And I don't mean let's do it like I want because you know I am one box seat and a champagne glass away from abusing my power. Leaders should be diminished from our mentality and actors, yes actors should be the new direction of the people that will "puppet" the government. I mean if we are going to use puppets, let's go all out. Let's make elections one that the masses decide. Every law can be one movie away from giving the public understanding and a vote.

Obviously, we should not dump our system and "try" the new method, but it's worth noting, even now maybe decades before it comes to pass that this is the direction we should point to if we are to become more civilized.

Less civilization is what we get when we have more republicans refusing to cooperate and I will be the first to agree that no matter what the party, people will suck. But it's too important to have a direction, to not have one. If we just give up and say whatever man, rich people know what they're doin', then you get $10/ gallon gas prices. $1000 electric bills, $500 water, $500 trash pickup etc. And why not, the people that can't afford it will just owe it and so what if they don't ever pay up, they know what time it is, it's Miller time!

The only thing that can come from not having more civilization or more government is less, and that's not gonna work. More people need more government and we aren't losing people and we don't want to, unless you're Republican.

Systems, controls, buffers, maximums, and minimums are how you organize anything so if you are fed up with people making billions, then maybe a minimum wage wasn't such a bad idea. Maybe pensions and unions weren't the corrupt things we thought they were.

It's been said before I think on G.I. Jane (great movie) and I swear a lot of stuff in movies I said first in a different form but whatever: There are no bad teams, just bad leaders. I used to say that about McDonald's because I worked there as a manager.

There are no bad restaurants, just bad managers. The book to run a McDonald's is pretty huge, and unabridged, it is the golden path to good food. Problem is if you follow all the specs in it, it can get pretty dern expensive, and it's a lot easier to leave food in the warmer a bit longer and pull those fries and burgers earlier and maybe stack the food in the bag fries first cuz it's faster. There were so few restaurants out there with the sophistication of McDonald's that people would take their food cold and not complain because essentially the taste was there and they didn't trust the other restaurants. If you let your employess do it, they slide the rules even so much as to break them so it's really up to the style of the manager if the food is going to be any good. That's why it's good to ask for the manager not so much to get the employee in trouble, as it is to see if the manager is one of THOSE types. Then you can just choose a different place but for a good reason not because one person forgot something.

My professor in business went to the Thunderbird Academy in Arizona which is the best school in the world for Internationl Finance or it was and even though I couldn't get in, it was enough for me that at least he went there. He told everyone in class that even though it was probably beneath everyone in my private university's station, that starting out as a manager of a fast food restaurant is a boon of hands-on experience doing everything that you just learned getting your business degree. And he was right. Of course he was always right and he was so right that when you walked out of his class your head hurt from everything you learned. Why? Because he would write something on the board, make sure everyone wrote it down, Then ask us questions about it, then he would erase it and move on. One guy said to me that his head hurt from everything he learned because it was SO unlike other classes that it was hard on your faculties. He used no book in class, and his test was to write the question on the board and discuss it like we did in class. We answer freehand on a white sheet of paper. It was so weird it was brilliant. Don't ask me how I failed some of his classes but I think that when I like something or someone, I disappoint them, not intentionally cuz it's my subconscious need or something, I dunno. I did the same thing in humanities and philosophy. Great teachers, bad grades. Even marketing, where I learned the whole star cash cow dog thing I spout out to everyone, or the cluster map of desire between rich people and rich products that I explain to people is why target audiences are so important, I got an F. I learned a lot but I liked it too much to pass. Don't ask, I can't explain it to myself so I can't explain it to you.

Ok so back to managers of restaurants and good leaders of good teams. I am a horrible editor so sue me.

So that's why the government needs good leaders but not just ones that can stand in front of an audience like a comedian getting heckled to death and surviving, ones that "follow up" on his workers. Follow up is a huge deal in restaurants. As an owner, if you don't check up on people and what they do, you don't care if they do it right, you don't think what they do it important, or you just don't think it's your place to come down on people. It is your place. Managers are like dogs. If you don't watch em from time to time, off they go to dig a hole in your fence, because they wanna be free, FREEEEEEE, never mind that they are outside of the property and what it encompasses. If they are like my dog they get kicked by the neighbor!

Anyways, government should be about freedom too, not about how to make the rich people richer.

I saw some movies recently and boy was Abraham Lincoln good. I saw it in 3D and was very impressed with the effects.

Another movie I saw Promethius, omg did they kill Charlize Theron in the most senseless way possible or what! I'm starting to think the people in charge don't like her even though I think she is a brilliant actress. I loved her in Aeon Flux too. She was awesome in it. Great movie. (When I say great movie it means I have seen it more than 6 times). The Road. Great movie. I cry everytime she does the child bearing scene because I feel the same way sometimes like why would I bring a child into this world that has become so stale. Her pain, her senseless pain, her suffering is for nothing and yet she has to suffer it anyway because she is in the moment, there's no going back, her very soul is being released into the child and in her screams I hear the last of what her life was, so beautiful, so sexy, so exciting and full... and then empty. It's brilliant. I can envision it even now sitting here like it was me. At least the movie ends on a high note and for that I am happy though it didn't give a message but to depict a world that has lost it's charm. She should have got an Oscar for that but meh, Microsoft wins again or whoever. As a matter of fact I think I will watch it again tonight.

You know, movies are like books. There is a lot of time spent on putting the words together just so to make the movie believeable and hopefully to impress the philosophers like me. I never thought of myself as a philosopher until just now heh. Sounds better than preacher anyway.

The more you watch a great movie, the more you can pull out of every scene like in the background or the person next to them or the meaning of a certain scene. I wish there was a featurette of every movie by the writer explaining what they mean by certain scenes. The director just assumes we all know what the writing means and blah blah blah go on like we give a damn how long it took to put on makeup. Such fools! Talk about the writing, about what the lead is thinking, about why she thinks what she does, about the background he didn't get to that's in the book if there is one. Make two versions of every movie, one 2 hour, another 3 hour and put the 3 hour version on DVD. I mean you got the actors there already so why not slather it up with scenes. If you're spending millions of bucks why not film like a crapload of scenes that don't even make sense. I betcha DVD sales go back up! People want to watch a great movie when they are in a certain mood like after a breakup or after they lose their job or the day after they get back from Vegas. Finding Amanda was one great movie because of that cuz it reminded me of Vegas. I don't miss it so much now though but the movie is done well. But because I have seen it so many times, I would relish catching some extra scenes where she was naked or he was thrown out or maybe a nice long boring blackjack scene of nothing but cards and actors... cheap but effective and addictive. Some people would go back to a DVD just to find out if there were any tricks they missed that were "hidden" in the games. That's all moolah for the company.

In The Road, I would have the main actors explain their roles I mean you can see everything going on in their head in the movie but there's so few words that I think most people miss how artistic the movie is. After you hear what the actors say, if they are somewhat deep like both of them I know are, meaning Viggo and Charlize, you would be like wow, I didn't know he was debating his healing side with his destuctive side, or that he had given up on God and found a NEW god. Or that scene by Charlize that defines what it is to die in real life before your life is taken. I had to watch it several times to understand that NO she wasn't going to come back later in the movie with her gang and save them (which is what I thought the first time I saw it), she was already dead, already cold, already incomplacent and turned, she was already a zombie and to walk out into the night with no clothes, was to express her worth to the world one final time.

Wow, I got sidetracked, today I saw Brave. It was a nice story and it was very moral. I didn't like that it had a peg leg king but I did like that it mentioned a tapestry and how it needed to be mended for her mother to be healed from her curse. The moral being that Pride can affect whole legions of people, even if it is just you misusing it. Nothing special but it was for kids and the message was there for me so meh isawright.

You know, religion is how a government should be formed at the outset. People need a belief to power their lives. Especially young people. I believe every child should be sent to church just the same as they are told about Santa Claus and Easter because to understand our laws they are going to need simpler laws from which to build. So the purpose of religion is to be the state before the state becomes the state. To structure people into a system that they can agree and at least understand. The purpose of religion is to establish culture. So Egypt despite people saying that Muslimism is bad, is not wrong by adopting a nice simple religion just like we are adopting a nice simple healthcare. There has to be a system before it can be a functional and then efficient system.

But after becoming adults, I think we can all understand at least that to have people in a system of laws that allow gays, pot, dancing, premarital sex, slander, slapping, poking, adopting babies, charging telephone taxes or even any taxes above the 10% max that the bible mentions, we are going to need something a little more sophisticated than religion or republicans.

And if we want to have all of these freedoms, we are going to need more controls.
