a box of McDonald's

BLM WHM SMN SCH THF RNG BRD MNK WAR DRK PLD > 99

Right as we were all seniors about to graduate with a business degree(though not from Wharton but a private university nonetheless) the professor gave us suggestions as to what we would do.  We should invest time in internships(doing it for free).  We should keep our comments to ourselves.  We should maybe work at McDonald's or another fast food chain.  At this a lot of people laughed.

But I for one DIDN'T laugh.  I had already spent many years working at McDonald's on and off and I was excited at the prospect that I already had experience most of these students didn't have.  In hindsight, a TOP portion of these students got the professor to recommend them into internships downtown and I didn't pay it much mind then but WHOA what if I would have immediately started using the stuff I had just learned?  What a different life I would have led.

But today I want to talk to you about how McDonald's prepares you for life.  Few things are as commonplace around the world as fast-food.  You got your front counter where you do sales.  The back counter where you cook the food.  You got your stockroom.  You have your walk-in, which is what we call it but that's actually the fridge.  And you have your freezer, which is a room unto itself.  If you want to be CEO this is probably the simplest way to expose yourself to ALL facets of the business.

Now this post could be EXCEEDINGLY long if I told you everything I learned in the 3 short years I spent as crew and as manager.  But I will try to give you only the highlights and their ramifications.

Working the front line you learn to be patient with people and also how to work fast.  It's important not to spill stuff because other people are running around behind you.  It's important to sweep and mop often because you want the floor clean and DRY, not dusty or wet which would slow you down and even be dangerous.  In time you learn the keyboard and where everything is.  It takes time but soon you are getting people's order and you can even send grill orders(special orders) back with stuff like "no onion" or "no ice" or you can even tell them how they like their coffee.

Now once you are good or expert at front line, you can work the drive-thru.  Working the drive-thru is like getting promoted to marketing.  You know your job and you are going to do it for the company and make the entire store look good.  People next you will wonder what relative of yours works in corporate because it's that good.  Only your best people go in drive-thru.  There are going to be customers non-stop, unlike front line.

What's the lesson?  Well, I guess here you can apply things like Organization Behavior and Management skills.  Is the customer old and cranky?  They need more attention without more negativity.  Maybe you need to speak up?

In the back line you learn to cook.  I was excited when they first put me there because I was front line for a long time before I got to cook.  Thing is they usually keep these two types of people separate.  If you work in the back you usually are not good with customers but are very good at your job.  If you can take 18 buns and slide them all on 18 patties all at once, that's good.  If one of those buns falls on the floor... well, it's time to put you back on front line and maybe bathroom and lobby detail so you can learn what kind of stuff is on the floor that you gotta now clean.

On some days there will be need for a stockroom person.  This person usually organizes the truck.  It's a simple process but some things are not simple.  Obviously when you run out of cups you don't want to start a new stack of cups in a different location because not everyone is at work with you when you do it.  This will cause confusion, so you have to learn where the cups go where the big mac boxes go and where the breakfast supplies go, etc.  Old boxes need to be broken down and put in the recycle bin and you have to learn how to get on top of those boxes and jump up and down on them so that more boxes will fit in there.  It's uh, kinda technical.  You might think this is surely for the most "simple" of associates but rest assured that if there IS a job, someone can screw it up.

Now I could go on.  I have done EVERY job in McDonald's and I only became a manager because my father told me once the the captain of a ship must know EVERY part of his ship if he is going to run it well.  So it has been my joy at every job to start from the bottom despite knowing I was more capable than many already in power.

Some alternate things I learned in school was LIFO and FIFO.  I have already talked about this before.  You would think it makes no sense to do LIFO(last in first out) but in the stockroom, where things don't get old, it's much more convenient to use the last box stacked since the items there are identical to the ones in the back and are closer.

This doesn't apply to salad.

One of the very dastardly deeds that goes on in McDonald's outside of the view of most people is how the condiments are assembled.  The lettuce for the big macs gets poured into a container that sit on another container full of ice.  This is so the lettuce is kept cold.  Now, as the ice melts, it has to be replaced or the lettuce will get warm.  This is why customers sometimes get average burgers some times and they get GREAT burgers when I am running things.

We're just molecules, cutie!

See, this is a recurring theme for life.  Some people are soft and amiable.  They get along with people, they are patient in front of old people that slur or are unhappy or are slow to decide.  They are stop and go without very much need to finish things or do things well, knowing in their minds that it's all about the journey.  Put this person in the back making burgers and he will be there counting out onions and placing buns, one at a time, on the burgers and put just enough lettuce to make the burger look fantastic.  It will also take 4 minutes for this person to make a burger where usually it takes 2.

This is the part that is binary.  People can be happy to be soft, they can be happy to be anal and EVEN SO, these people can them separate into fast or slow performers.  Life is like that.  Separation after separation.

People are good then slow then loud then kind then charitable.

It's like Economics.  People profess to be able to tell you what will happen to the economy if you raise taxes or increase the minimum wage because wages affect disposable income which affect rent prices which affect a cities tax revenue.  Economics is just another system that like communism can go awry.  People want to label things as evil especially people in power.  But if you remember that we are all just molecules,  then you can get the takeaway that we all should, above all, be calm.  That even a dictator can do no wrong if people are happy.  At the same time, happiness should be a warning to you that something is very VERY WRONG.

Like a flower, exuding happiness is a signal to the bees. Life goes on and so must work and the show and your funeral blah blah blah, sun is not gettin any younger.  Be wary about happiness... lost my point.

Oh, so sometimes with lettuce you won't use FIFO(first in first out), even though you must.  This makes sense with lettuce right?  The lettuce at the bottom must always be the "first out".  If you simply pour in new lettuce on top of old, what happens?  Black people, your response... lol... no, you don't get shot but hey, could happen.

Besides, so what if the customers are Muslim, lol.  I still haven't seen that whole you-tube on that so I can't comment more but I like both Ms. Pearson and SE so I won't say more.

With people, I mean, with lettuce, if you don't replace the old lettuce, it will positively get slimy back there and at the end of the day what we do is... we put nice bit of plastic over the "lettuce container" and put it in the walk-in.  Now just think about that,  what is that lettuce at the bottom is DAYS old?  What if we don't FIFO that lettuce and keep the old lettuce up top?  It's going to be difficult on that Muslim right?  He's doing to be "not very satisfied" with his Bernie Mac I mean Big Mac.

Imagine yourself for a moment chewing on the Big Mac.  Oh sure that thousand island dressing is doing wonders to mask that dehydrated spinachy taste you have in your mouth right now.  Later when you have to digest it, it will do wonders for your constipation though things could get worse if as you digest, this "old lettuce" decides to not just INFECT the good lettuce but infect your stomach and give you food poisoning.

It's a not very subtle thing to picture is it?  Old lettuce, on YOUR burger.  But that's how it happens, You take a living thing like an election and you forget to FIFO.  Now that taste in your mouth SHOULD BE tasty, juicy, crisp, and full of substance.  You SHOULD BE able to tell the difference between the lettuce and the dressing, am I right?  It can't just be all dressing and we still go ahead and go back there for another burger.

So as you walk in to your election booths and decide if you want same old same old, think about this.  I am not a fan of same old same old, but I do like to do things slow... sometimes, for free.

What am I saying? I'm saying elect Trump, fools! At the same time, keep McDonald's in business(with new people in charge once in a while) if you want some common way of relating to everyone.

PS. Life is like a box of McDonald's McTrumps... yeah, I know this bringing up Forrest Gump is not helping my point >.> but hey, comedy.  Little bit of comedy = good.

Like an idiot

BLM WHM SMN SCH THF RNG BRD MNK WAR DRK PLD > 99

I watched Joel again and he said a lot of good things, the first of which was to pray first, decide later.  Yeah.  Truly, if I was praying every day while I went to the bar I would have done things different.  My life was about finding a girl.  I wasn't going to do that at church because I didn't believe in being a hypocrite.  I wasn't "conditioned" to marry a girl first, sex later and I knew that is what the church wanted and I knew I didn't want that.  My mother would incessantly suggest that I go to church and I just didn't want to do it though at times, it seemed like that was truly the only way because I spent years at the bar single.  I had spent plenty of time at the bar and single girls just didn't seem to show up.  But since plenty of non-single good-looking girls DID show up and since I was there with my sister and her husband and THEY met at the bar, I had faith that one day it would be my turn.

Joel was right about another thing... some people are shit(he didn't say this? lol). You might have unbelievable faith in people like I did.  You might believe that all people want to work together and are happier when they are in a group of like-minded people but at some point, ALL people learn to betray others.  It's at that point that YOU as a person have to decide what kind of life you are going to lead. Do you like betraying others and think it's normal or do you recognize what that is?  I didn't expect people at the bar to betray me even though that's what people do 24/7 as leaders of the community is warn people about the bar.  Sometimes people like me are just thick or arrogant.  I thought of myself as someone important at the bar and well-known so I kept showing that confidence to others.  That people could be trusted.  That you could allow yourself to get drunk in public if people could be trusted.  That you didn't have to worry about leaving your lighter at the bar...  But it's a little loopy in hindsight.  You obviously shouldn't have parking lots next to bars.  This TEMPEST of things that happened to me, 1 yr without a license(though I got temp one), one month psychological evaluation, probation/checking in with Momma.. and honestly the judge even hinted that he could put me in jail for a year... all of that... is BS(shortened for clarity)

WITALF (this is what you would say if this happened to you for ordering something off a menu in a drive-thru)

You wouldn't wish this on your worst enemy.  Especially for something so simple.  It's like I chopped a guy's arm off for what they put me through.  If I was working and didn't have a car and if I had a rent payment and a job... my life would be over.  No car equals can't get to work, can't keep your job, can't pay the rent.  It's really ridiculous.  WHO would risk that?  And yet bars are still open everywhere with parking lots right there begging to be used.  It boggles the mind.  What's worse is the DMV is not even connected to a judge meaning they pretty much do what they want to your life at that point... without evidence, without subpoena, without a justice system.  It's all royalty at that point.

That's a warning to people.  Once you lose your job you think you have fallen but you have not BEGUN to fall at that point.  Expect a traffic violation.  I crashed my car a long time ago in the 90s.  I was coasting home(like 10 mph) and fell asleep.  I crashed into a neighbors car (yeah see karma = it's ok to ruin my life) and at that point cops always knew when I was about to get safe driver because right at ~5 years, they would trap me with a speeding ticket.  Oh I was speeding, but it was "abnormal" how I got the ticket.  Usually on a valley or for some small speeding amount, JUST so that I couldn't get safe driver, or so it seemed.  I used to speed a lot because well, I had skill and intensity and I wanted to use it but after a number of speeding tickets and watching my insurance go up, I realized how foolish it was.  It's not worth it and it's really sort of an addiction to go fast when right over here is the cruise control.  You people that haven't used cruise control very much will be amazed how useful that is especially if things roam around in your head on your way to work.  And if you drink and drive it's a no brainer.  You have zero risk of getting stopped if you don't break a traffic law so, it's a must-have if you want to drink and drive.

See, that was a lie.  They arrested me in the drive-thru.  See this is what they mean by royalty and pulling out all the stops.  System works fine and then one day OOPS no system for you... you are going to jail for whatever... it's no small wonder I talk about the apocalypse and understand it so well.

You see that is what hell is.  You are surrounded by haters.  The Bible isn't telling us that you are going to hell AFTER death or going to heaven AFTER death... death is only the beginning(The Mummy).

Ok that was confusing so let me explain.  People care about you equals LIFE, people stop caring about you equals DEATH.  And that's when hell begins... the process of ex-communication.   Noone should have this power (power word kill) but it exists.  In AD&D it's a ninth level spell(maximum) meaning usually only kings can order it.(Is it time for you to join a church yet? lol, yeah get your butt to a "bible-based church and keep God first place")   See that's why I am here, to explain things that you had no idea they got this from REAL EVENTS.  You think the game(AD&D) is all made up and that dragons and witches and spells are funny things and (hand pistol to your head) "where do they get this?"

Well, this is where.  Not only can cops stop having to put REASONS down on paper for things they do, now the DMV can do stuff like order you up some irrelevant questions to answer under oath and the people at gas stations can blah blah their people to turn your gas pumps on and off and make you run around "like an idiot" and your neighbors can suddenly become aware that you live right there and that your grass needs mowing and your house needs to be threatened because you didn't mow it and city needs to put up a sign asking you to trim your trees and it's ok to wake you up in the middle of the morning with car alarms because "what are you gonna do call the police?"

And you know what, I have to take that back about spawns of Satan because I guess they DO come in singles.  Witches come in groups but spawns of Satan come in singles and are created by witches.  Small wonder.

So you see all those movies about zombies and dead people aren't about people coming to life from the dead, it's about people that have stopped caring... about each other.  They will defend the idiocy of people that do care like their children or their parents(immune or oblivious), but they themselves are UNDEAD.  Upfront, or OUTFRONT(winks to Erin) they act normal but in the back of their minds they have this need to bite you, because they don't care about others.

It's strange but also enlightening right?  To learn this?  I have tried not to talk about it because I worried that it would INFECT others but it's not like that.  At any moment people can start caring again and through God they can find forgiveness but it would have been easier to just read this and skip it right?  You can "trust me" now, right?

You should do like Joel and pray first... daily... and decide things later.  There really ARE people out there that are NOT like you, not the least of which are from other countries or from clicks of groups from maybe different races or even from the "Skulls club"(Yale) of elite people or the chamber of commerce.  It's a HUGE amount of people that don't care about others and think it's ok that we dominate them because HUNTING people = adult.

No, hunting people equals a hole.  You can't add a hole.  The wages of sin are death.  Hope you get my message.

Hunting people = A-HOLE

PS. I know what you're thinkin, this guy just LOVES attention.  Well, here goes one last inconvenient truth for ya.  Instead of asking me to turn off the car, he reaches in and tries to turn it off himself.  I turn it off for him.  On the police report it says the cop was "afraid".  Yeah, he was afraid of a guy sittin in the drive-thru... what's that code for ... black people, your response...

Oh, and I am not against groups, like in college, fraternities SHOW you what I have been saying all along that secret stuff (box of secrets) fuels the group and the group can then be "useful" to society.  But one or two bad people or cops and now that whole group is covering up his or her mess... which co-incidentally turns into another secret... which is terrible but also... it's a good thing.

In remembrance

BLM WHM SMN SCH THF RNG BRD MNK WAR DRK PLD > 99

 Well, here comes the election.

We have seen important things come out on both sides and what is left to decide is what kind of government you want to have.  On the one side we have Clinton that apparently is an insider.  She has the support of all of the people in charge and some of the people NOT in charge.  Then we have Trump who has NONE of the people in charge.

Now, first let me say that CNN despite throwing their weight around sometimes to make a story greater, is NOT, in my opinion, in support of Clinton.  And when I hear people say that it is the Clinton network, it reminds me that not so long ago it was CLINTON who was against all of the media.  You can't say it's Clinton's network when they were that much against her before.  Suffice it to say that you don't become a multi-millionaire without some people becoming averse to your decision-making skills... that allow you to get rich and hoard money.

That being said I believe the Clintons knew they were going to run again and amassed this "war chest" of money for that purpose.  If that is the case then it's not exactly selfish in my opinion.  It's like Joel.  If he has some great plan or has faith that God has some great plan for his wealth, then more power to him.  I know for certain that most of the people that SAY they don't like that you have money, aren't all that earnest about it.  They want a piece of that "shut-up" money and if so, that makes them witches.  Well at the least it makes them mercenaries(people that believe only in money) and at worst it makes them witches(people that want their little gang of people to end up better than the regular populace).

Today, I don't have an agenda because I haven't been able to write recently.  It has something to do with Google but by going into Fox I resolved it.

I have been toying with explaining my father's death but it's all negative and I wouldn't want to "blister" your thoughts with my experiences.  It's funny because I was going to tell SarahK that Trump really WAS a human blister but that we could heal him like we did her.  In the end it's all about control.  People like people that don't wanna copy the actions of someone that curses and frets and perceives negative things (even though that's what a comedian is).  People wanna mimic someone that inspires.

It's all about molecules, cutie.

SarahK used to have this as her motto and she maybe didn't know how right she was, cuz she changed it.  People are binary.  Their little light is either overflowing with energy and attraction or it is dim and needful of support.  It's like the song says from deadspace... twinkle twinkle little star... how I wonder what you are... up above the world so high... like a diamond in the sky(getting ready to fall perhaps?)  The reality of a flickering candle that is about to go out, is not lost in the verse where the star twinkles or flashes ... like it is running out of energy.

Such is the way of things.  But if Sarah is right then people can be brought back.  The need energy but not support.  Just like she can inspire people to vote for Bernie and fill people with hope and belief in a future where someone she trusts is someone others can trust, so can we fill her with OUR trust and belief that she, just some common girl that made it big, can have good judgement and would make a worthy leader.

Such is what I want for Trump.  I want to heal him.  I have HOPE for him.  I realize he's a human blister, so ... blisters can be healed.  America can be healed.  The only problem I have with Trump is that he MAY not be earnest.  I realize he does a lot of comedy and all he wants is to win, but WHAT IF he hasn't changed.  By himself, I like him but next to other officials like Giuliani and Christie,  I have to wonder.  I don't have a lot of faith in EX-law enforcement.  It's nice that they have experience with bad people but as shown repetitively in history or with Nietchze's saying, if you fight monsters you have to be careful you don't become one.

I have first hand experience with this because people are forcing me to choose.  They don't want me to be free to roam around undecided.  Because they know I have a connection to the darkside they want me with law enforcement and the harassment I receive may or may not be from government or maybe they just want to out me so I never go back to TRYING to be regular person.  I have spent too much time with monsters and now either the monsters want me out or the fighters of monsters want me on their side.  But that's just what should not happen is that I tell people ... IT'S OK TO FIGHT PEOPLE.  Counterattacks, evidence, and faith; these are the weapons of a true warrior of God.  You must TRY to inspire people to act like you do, with trust, with faith, and with goodwill.  It's not just a coincidental that God's will sounds like goodwill.  If we ALL act within the law, God is a being of forgiveness and reflection.  If we start attacking(which is easier) God becomes a dragon, an ephemeral being that you see only on your last day on Earth because ... it's the end of days.

Fighting is not hard.  It takes no intelligence.  You need no school.  Pick a person even a general or a karate fighter and blind-sided... they stand no chance.  All you have to do is believe in gangs(YOUR set of people) and now you can rest easy that you are doing some good in the world with your hatred.  And even as your blood boils even at the sight of said person, you can rest easy that it's only temporary; you won't be this THING... for very long.

I saw Jerry Falwell on Erin's show last night and on any other night watching a preacher I would be like ew, preachers and journalists together... ew.  It's strange yes?  I mean a journalist SHOULD BE all about the truth and gathering evidence and worhsipping our laws by exposing those who don't.  They are like warriors of God, except that they are kind of doing it for money.  Sounds terrible I know, but so is the preacher.  We have this negative connotation about money as though having too much of it relates to inequality but now I, having lost all of MY money, can see that it is a different thing.  It is not a sign of inequality but a sign of trust.  When people fuel you money it shows that they trust you.  When you have a trustworthy BRAND, well then you deserve more money because MORE people trust you.  Now, I have to say, just like appointing a financial manager is a sign that you have too much money and that the money is running out(star turning into a cow) and that the financial manager may IN FACT fire a whole lot of good people to make themselves rich, perpetually; so it is that having a lot of money shows to others that you MAY BE overdoing it.

This is why tax returns are so important.  Even if there is some little trick you used like carried interest or the NIGERIA TRUST FUND, (wow look at that ROI!) it's important to have a reckoning.  At some point, EVERYONE(did I say that right SE?) EVERYONE!!!! should have their income taxes audited once you make like I dunno a million dollars.  That's not YOUR money.  That's OUR money.  You can't take that overseas or give it to your children, WE trusted you with OUR money.  Your job is to build to inspire and to grow our country and our goodwill.  If you do a good job, we trust you with more money.  If you see a loophole, SHOW US on your taxes. GOOD JOB! It's time to close that up cuz we can't think of everything.  Now obviously we can't run this country on you BETTER DO AS I SAY, so anytime you want to retire with the bunches you made, fine, see ya, take your money and STOP saying you don't SUCK!

You know it's not about money right?  It's about investment.  Investment is not about money.  Focusing on stockholder wealth is NOT what works for a company.  Health... people.  Focus on company health.  It's a risk of couse but you wouldn't have shit for brains if you had ever taken a risk so take a risk and invest in company health.  You know how to throw out GALLONS on advertising and on research and development, so do a cost-benefit on your children(employees)... probably should make it long-term at first and then refine it so that your children's health is not just healthy.  See that it is improving AND account for the propensities of children that once healthy, are CURIOUS about wanting to destroy your company(kids, right?)

Ok, so Trump.  Now I don't have problems with Clinton all that much, but I think she is like working BRILLIANTLY in the intelligence community or whoever it is that let's her get away with things for the "sake of the country".  I can trust that, but I can't see that, and that's not enough for me.  I would rather mold a criminal with his whole record laid out before me than depend on someone with a "closet" of values.

In her defense, once I read her record she has an amazing success story.  All the things I wanted to do when I was 20 like join the Marines, become a lawyer, and lead the country... she was actually able to do... once she had money.  See that?  That's not underhanded, that's winning.  That's trust.  Rich families are trusted and hopefully they do "good things" so that that trust keeps money flowing in their direction.  Obviously like children who are instantly happy they become curious what sort of POWER that money has and of course there is an old saying for that but it's not true.  Once you understand power, once you understand that we are all molecules or little nodes/followers of light, you can manage that FLOW of money or that flow of the blood of the country... without it corrupting you absolutely.

Now this is going to sound sacrilegious but I want to end with one more thing about the holy supper(which is like the opposite of holy shit right? just saying)  Jesus wanted us to remember his body as we ate bread and he wanted us to remember him as we drank wine.  But more than that he asked that we remember HIM(his life) and as we eat the bread we should remember his birth and remember Christmas and that STAR, that one little star that could light the world...

And when we drink to his death... when we REMEMBER what MADNESS tastes like... when we contemplate seeing the WORLD END through his eyes... betrayed by EVERYONE!!! we know his message.

We know God.
