So XBOX has just come out with Titanfall INCLUDED with the console. Yippee, I mean who ever heard of buying a system so it can sit there? Can you just see the look of your nephew's face as he hooks up the whole thing just to find that there isn't a game to play? Not even Minesweeper or Solitaire high def... really?

Anyone see a pattern here? I mean isn't this the ship we rode in on in the 80s? We were making cars too cheap to fail so that dealerships could more and more frisk consumers on a regular basis for their car repair money and soon the Japanese came in with "you guessed it" cars that didn't need fixing. And it didn't have to be that way did it? I mean we have quality standards now that pretty much make all cars difficult to break. In fact a mechanic pretty much has to set you up to fail to have something go wrong with your car nowadays.

I watched a documentary about the USFL and Donald Trump and like or not players were getting paid squat before the USFL came along. The best player in the NFL was getting paid 60000 a year and right over here players were being offered 200k as rookies. The USFL and Donald Trump are WHY people get into the NFL now, imo.

I mean sure it failed and many blame Trump for wanting to compete head to head with the NFL but it doesn't change what happened.  And it's funny how people had a LOT of respect for courts in those days.  Do you think people just sat down and quit after the Citizen's United ruling?  Courts are kinda messed up aren't they?

And so it is with video games. We started out with Nintendo SEGA dependability which came from the Japanese mindset of quality and we have de-evolved into an 80s mindset of frisk the consumers. Why do I say that because we sell consoles without video games. We sell controllers that last a year tops. We are about to sell downloaded games that I GUARANTEE you begin to have problems as the companies begin to figure out they can get away with "bundling" fixes with free other stuff like advertising or coupons.

Gasoline has become like that. I betcha if SEGA was in charge of oil wells we wouldn't have so many spills. But SEGA was no spring chicken either. It was starting to sell extension cords and accessories that they could have included in the game by just making the cords longer. It was starting to show in their dependability as more of their games had problems also. Fact is monopolies aren't bad for business because it makes too many people jealous, it's bad because eventually the quality of the product begins to break down because of no competition, and only for lack of a better analogy only competition makes corruption sit up and take notice.

It's like sex. If you get tired of the same position, you are going to have to switch it up... and besides in the back of your mind you KNOW doggie-style is the right way to do it but you're just too lazy aren'tcha?

Harumph, ok to back to the problems today. I have a problem with my windshield. It has several cracks in it and though a previous crack was slight and whittled to no-effect, a second crack from another rock or something has begin to creep its way to the middle. So now it's time to take it be replaced. It has been several years coming now also because I just never knew how much it would cost and I really didn't want to spend my own money on it since insurance might do it. But now it's time to put all that nancy-pants stuff away and just GET IT DONE.

Sadly, I had made an appointment with Lee&Cates Glass in Orange Park on Friday. I set up the appointment on Monday and after I called to confirm, I arrived at the shop and they had the wrong glass ready so they had to re-schedule the replacement of the windshield for today. I was dissapppointed that it didn't get done Friday and even though I am gonna be broke again, I sort of want to blow that money now. I mean it's not like I drive everyday and I could use a new XBOX ONE!

The high point of fielding questions about that remark is realizing who are the wretches just by the questions they ask. You see if you are calm you don't really care what happens when the rapture comes. But if you think I'm scaring people well then ... gotcha! (thanks Rev. Al)

Only someone that scares people takes offense to crap like that above statement. Only people that DON'T know what communism means, are against it first and accept it only when forced to. Only haters worry about the rapture. Only feminists see the word MANNED and think HEY!

If you're calm or if YOUR calm then you don't worry too much about what you just read and if ITS politically correct or punctually correct or gram... oh you know what I mean.

It should be clear to you, having read many of my previous blogs that NOTHING needs to be done to improve things. Communism doesn't need to be abolished because it's communism, dictators don't need to toppled because they are dictators, governors don't need to be arrested for being governors;  people are the source of bad systems, not the systems. 

There are no bad teams just bad leaders.   

So the less we do, that calmer we get, the less we demand that people work(I am for 10hours x 3 days a week), the better and more involved people become in the politics of their government.

And that makes for ALL SORTS of reform including water testing, courthouse funds managing, roads building, waste management, and even education. The more people show up to TOWN HALLS instead of showing up to CHURCH... the more funds being side-railed by this or that family of contractors or constuction or NFL stadium building WON'T be allowed to be overspent.

And this is the quickest way for us to start caring about each other again. 

PS.  Do yall believe in UFOs? If they exist they proabably want us to be 50/50... and I can imagine them having the same technology as us hanging there on a rickety space station DOMINATING the planet and waiting for us to hold out our hand in peace, so that they can accept us and walk us to the future hand in hand, and maybe I DENY WORKING WITH THEM but, of course I would say that.

I never used to take pictures and now I'm learning all sorts of ways to take them. Today I found an old yearbook from college. It was from 1987 so was AFTER my very good year and yet the pictures were from both so maybe 50% of a good year. In there I found a note from my father who included $20 so that I wouldn't be broke. I remember thinking now HOW NICE it was to have money because other money was for work study, I couldn't afford to GO OUT.

It also reminded me of a difficult time I had with a certain video sale. I had rented some movies while I was back from college and here was the note from my father explaining how difficult it was to deal with the man that now demanded 200+ dollars in overdue fees. Since I had gone back to college and forgot about it, I was WAY past due and he was advising me that he would need to get a lawyer to deal with it and for me not to worry.

I was a royal mess at the time. People were telling me that I would not have as much financial aid in the coming year, I had a girlfriend that liked to kiss but that wanted more out of the relationship and who soon started seeing this other guy and then sleeping with him while keeping me on a friends basis. I can't say I felt treated badly since I didn't LOVE her or anything but I did like that people thought she was pretty so on a competitive level I wanted her back which just made me appear MORE the schmuck.

In one of the pictures in the yearbook, I can be seen with my other friends at the college newspaper. I probably mentioned before that I was the artist for the paper and that my work won district standing among other colleges. But that changed the next year when the professor in charge of it changed. I also was a model for the Art Department. It was slightly awkward work but hey work study money is work study money.

Shortly thereafter my world would change drastically. But that has happened several times throughout my life so maybe that was the breaking of the mold or something.

You can't change who you are.

I keep trying to heal up and become my old self but I don't know what that old self is except someone that is going to mess up again. I wonder also if I should work out and get in shape again because what if I have actually been SECTIONED and it's pointless? I know that when I start to feel pain I will react but it is against my nature to prepare unless I believe I will be effective.

Obama should prepare.

Russia is going to be a morass of "feed me" types that don't know if they can get away with thuggish behavior but they're gonna do it anyways. It's like I said before, people are getting used to the raping and soon they will wonder why stupid people leave their lighters at the bar when they go to the bathroom.

So it's important also... to make sure you are in a good mood when you begin writing because the aura of creativity that is needed to inspire free-thinking can only occur when you are happy or inspired. I was once challenged by a guy at billiards to take the cue ball put it next to the object ball and then try to make the ball in by hitting the opposite rail longways. This was a very long shot and to be sure you had any number of ways to make it. You could angle it perfectly and make sure you gave the cue a center ball hit. You could english it ever so slightly so that the spin would not only rub it off the rail but lessen the angle before the hit if it hit the second rail. Or you could simply SLAM it into the rail and pretty much anything in the way would go into the pocket that was pretty much right there anyways.

So this was a slightly hard shot and, since I was in a good mood, I wanted to impress the guy so IN the ball went. The shot was impressive and he wondered if I was a big-time hustler and if so... who did I work for? How funny. It boggles my mind how someone with my looks, my money, and my clothes and demeanor and MANY acquaintances... can scare people. I either write it off to bad gossip or to people that just want me to be scared of THEM, which seldom happens.

But I remember mentioning to the guy that if I was mad or just meh, I couldn't make the shot. I am at my best when I am being impressive and charismatic, not when Im ired or simply buzzed. I do like to occasionally show off my INCREDIBLENESS though so that people don't completely write me off as sub-standard. Fact is, if I try really hard, most people begin to try really hard to keep up with me and soon, some people get annoyed. Still other people get annoyed because they "want your best game" (Color of Money) but those people are BIG boys that have spent more than half their life playing so it's no sweat off me to keep them in the dark.

That was part of my battery was to simply "know" that I was awesome and that others didn't know that. Guys could jeer at my fear to talk to girls or at how nice I was or that I didn't do drugs and I would still walk around "knowing" I had amazing skills and knowledge and family and if it made them feel better about themselves to jeer at my life, good. Fast forward that to today and my history of being fired and my bar history and I might have lost control of my "knowing" of my greatness because I'm not so well regarded anymore.

Btw, everyone has a battery... an "evil' core. It should not be defined as evil but it's helpful to label it that way to start. This evil powers everything we do. It's that selfish part of us that wants to SPEED past the speed limit, ask that girl ONE MORE QUESTION about her marital status, grab that SECOND french fry from another person's plate. Ya, it's evil alright but it's not really illegal and it is NECESSARY to maintaining your happiness level. This means that you can expect everyone to have these NEEDS that parents would clearly not recommend to children. So let's stop calling these "things that we do", evil and let's just call them darkness or secrets or power urges. It's not fair to call people evil since we all have these "needs", it's only fair when they become addicted to evil or addicted to their urges... which is a lack of control... which is akin to chaos.

So my power urges include porn, drinking, dogging others at darts and billiards, and writing this blog and talking like I own the planet might be a power urge.

But it's not illegal. 

PS. Another annonying truth I wonder about is what it must be like to be a woman.  I mean I got called "lonely" by someone on twitter recently and in retrospect, if a man is lonely him having balls and fat sausage hanging out the front, how much more lonely are woman who have a hole that needs filling?  Fact is women aren't bitches, they are MADE bitches by men who mistreat them.  Mentally ill people don't lose something and sink into mental illness they are MADE mentally ill.  Rebellions like the one in Ukraine aren't caused by selfish rebellious people... people are MADE into rebels.

Divinity

A high point of knowing so much is knowing that there are too many people for one person like me to matter. At the same time, because of my insignificanse, it's possible that people won't miss me when I'm gone.

This morning I watched Clue the movie. It was made back in 1986 or so. This was a "very good year" for me. (Highlander) But this movie was something next to the WORST movie possible. It was still high in class and stuff but to tell someone to watch this movie would be about the worst thing you could do to them that was legal. Anything more would be harassment.

No I don't plan on doing this to anyone.

The next movie was MUCH better. It was a documentary about the slowing of progress. I agreed with a great deal of it. Especially this one example an author Ronald Wright said about limiting your wants.

I have said this before that our economics need to be about having limited resources and limited demand.

He read somewhere that ancient man figured out how to kill a mammoth. A good thing that could feed all of his people. And as an improvement, killing TWO of them would be progress. Yet figuring out how to kill a WHOLE HERD of them by running them off a cliff, would not be progress anymore. It would be detrimental as there would no longer be a mammoth herd to feed them.

It made mention that whole civilizations were like this where they sprang up and then OVER-PROGRESSED themselves to starvation, to only later spring up all over again. 

Quite interesting.

Then I sat to watch a movie with Soairse something who I hope is 18 because I want sex dammit and I hope it's legal to say that. Oh... so in the movie, despite my objections to kids being in movies, I went ahead and watched her fall for this guy who is her cousin. But GOOD NEWS the world gets nuked and now they can be together. Who knew. Yet the reality of war soon shows up at their door and they are separated and later after following her around from camp to camp, you see a bitter reality that probably ACTUALLY EXISTS for people from the Ukraine.

At the end of the movie, I ball up in tears as she finds her "boyfriend" despondent and probably raped and left for dead in a mud hole. We had already learned that his brother was killed. 

"We don't have to ask WHY things happen..." are the words she used that tore me up inside.

You see, in the previous documentary, they had just pointed out that the difference between children and chimpanzees, was that children ask why.

PS. I don't believe in creation like you do, and I certainly don't believe in evolution like you do. I believe we are divine as a species. What does that mean?

A higher credit line

I used to feel bad talking about Russians because it seemed like they had reached a level of civilization that was equal to us.  That was probably what Putin intended when he made his "exceptionalism" remark.  He intended to make clear we were separate now, uneven... BOTH exceptional.

I don't feel so bad now. 

If a customer calls and needs a credit line increase, we need to check his credit bureau to see if there is any recent activity. This doesn't mean we HAVE to check it, means it's prudent to check.

But customers soon started to realize that credit bureaus noticed this "activity" and began to use the inquiries to justify lowering the score. After all, there are "possible" credit lines being approved after every inquiry which justify the lower score because of the customer becoming a higher credit risk.

You see, if you have few credit lines open, you appear to be a lower risk but as you open more, the risk gets higher.

So customers began to complain and since we were in the business of good customer service, we began to find a way to approve "slighter" increases just based on our own history. A bad practice yes, but good service makes for free advertising and frankly, a higher total past due customers was probably what the "big wigs" were hoping for, despite the ethics of it.

And as soon as the whole receivables market opened up, which took past due customers "off our hands" at a cost, we had not just a few past due customers but a whole BUNCH of past due customers... for some reason.

Oh... so where I'm going with this is that as customers asked for help we gave them help that caused them to go past due because it was sneaky like that to have a higher credit line that didn't show up on their bureau as an inquiry but that they eventually found out they couldn't afford and it was kinda our fault... though it wasn't.

And that's Russia now. We are "helping" them but in the end they are gonna end up messing themselves up. They are taking risks that they think we are approving JUST BETWEEN US, but if they had let us run it by the United Nations, they would know it was too much of a risk or they might have been approved the credit line, but instead now they have this SECRET credit line that they know they shouldn't have and that they, because it can be taken away at any time, are going to run up to the limit in a form of "burning your oil wells".

Explain it to them

I was humbled today to see the President awarding Congressional Medals of Honor on Alex's show. I realized quietly how long we have been going without REAL celebrations of this country's spirit.

And this is going to sound weird but I got the same feeling when Bush landed on the aircraft carrier and declared "mission accomplished". I actually wished I was there to see him land and feel the pride of being in the best nation in the world with as brave a leader as he was. But power engulfs even the most staunch in spirit. Some people think because they are so popular they can just go out and drink and drive and noone's gonna say anything.

So I believe, as should you all, that the 2000 war should have been over about as fast as Desert Shield was over, and it wasn't. Power wanted it to last so that all these "chemical weapons" wouldn't go to waste.

Isn't it convenient that we have all of this conflict right when weapons are being destroyed? I don't think it's coincidental. Moreover, the rest of the world is about to blow ranks to start THEIR arsenals of chemical weapons making. Why? Because those weapons do NUKE radius damage without all of the unnecessary explosions. They also tend to cost next to nothing as compared to Uranium or whatever. And as we wonder if we should have kept Bush in charge, remember that if he had just ended the war the way he should have, the world would not think of us as the fat PIGS that we are.

Now it's going to be time to settle up with the world and with some cost, put us on a track to progress again. Some people think that it's foolish to blow your secrets, that the world didn't need to know about why we went into Iraq, that it is treason to turn people against us by revealing the truth.

No. The only thing you can do is to make the punishment severe or not so severe or you don't have to punish it at all, but sins need revealing so that we as a group can close up them loopholes that make regular living... excitable.

Obama was stoic as usual and it was pleasing to me to see our military being honored with him there. The whole reason any of us can do what we do is because Jack Nicholson is out there on that wall (oh you know what I mean). And you might disagree with me on this but the military should be of an honorbound mindset. You might think that maybe we need to take women out of the military yes? Maybe we need private people in there somewhere, yes? 

No, communism works, democracy works, military tribunals work, and chain of command works.

I was once in a bar getting chatted up by this gorgeous woman who almost NEVER spoke before that night. She is the spitting image of the goddess of the underworld in a video game called TOO HUMAN. Obviously her attributes are not so similar but her face is just as beautiful. So she's going on and on about the ONE TAX or the SALES TAX as an income tax. She explains that it is more fair than an income tax because the people that are the richest are the ones that will pay most of the tax. And I honestly had never thought about that and I was just blown away by her cleavage... er uh I mean her knowledge of how the one tax works. 

But it's not exactly true is it? Sales taxes only tax people spending and since globally rich people earning interest aren't spending they kinda side-skirt this. Also people making money off of tips and stuff don't have to report this so much because there can't be a report if there is no receipt. And as with many things the system would work if people would honor it but fact is, there is no fun in just following the system.

Do people simply drive the speed limit?

And that is what is wrong with trying a new system. We go from being expert rank 10 perfect understanding of democracy, to trying out socialism novice rank 1. As we try to implement healthcare for example, ALL KINDS of little tricks and pecks are bound to crop up because we haven't tried it before and even though I support it now, I can foresee at least 1 or 2 HUGE problems we are gonna have that noone foresaw ahead of time because of a lack of experience. What are those problems? I dunno, I just foresee "problems" I don't know what they are. But rest assured, just like our eager-beaver financial gurus went off to Greece to finagle the derivatives' market there; you can expect several people with some experience in "national" healthcare fraud, to make their way over here from Europe to TRY their old tricks that we don't have the loophole closed to yet.

Oh... so the President is there honoring our soldiers and I get this sad feeling pass over me of wondering how ready we are for war if it comes.

I mentioned this lesson before about Thanos and Hal Jordan in this epic "What if" comic.  Thanos is an ultra powerful being who worships Death and his purpose is simply to find life and turn it over to her as a prelude to marriage.  He is in Marvel comics whereas Hal Jordan is in DC and this was a crossover "special" edition.   Anyways, in this one, one of Thanos' servants gets betrayed and begs him to explain why he gets betrayed over and over again and why does he always believe in him all over again?

To which Thanos replies, "I wonder that myself."

And that reminds me of Putin yeah? I mean you know he has chemical weapons, we know he just re-elected himself and we know he stole a super bowl ring.   The body cannot exist with a foreign vessel attached to it.   If he is not good, he must go, but they are not making him go. This also reminds me of Christie.

But we need to ramp up our expectations. we need to focus on what we are good at which is regulation and impeachment. We need to put the violent people in jail and the dishonest people on the street. Order it up people. We might need drugs to get by day to day but we don't have to allow RICH criminals to stay in power while we wonder if our GOVERNMENT is the problem. No. There is always some jerk that is going to say hey we all going 65, I'm gonna go 80. And that is normal, and because that is normal, people should expect to appear in court for being normal like I did.

No, I wasn't trying to be funny just then. (hah, I gotcha)(Al Sharpton is rubbin off on me, save your thank yous for Alex and perhaps due to no Crossfire for a week)

The lesson I am trying to explain to you is that we need to stay capitalist and stop trying to make the government the problem. We need MORE regulation because more people equals more criminals equals more regulation. It's not hard. And instead of worrying about Ayn Rand and OMG big government is gonna show up at my door and take me away, we need to remember that when they show up they can expect a loaded weapon to be present... and lawyers.

Now all of this disjointed thinking, that you think is a rant, is meant to explain to you that we don't need Democratic or Republican thinking because those people are run by rich people, what we need is laymen or common people's thinking about taking corrupt officials and putting them on the street and taking our government ideology... and leaving it alone.

Oh and forget Economics. If they can't explain it to someone like me that tutored people in Calculus at 16, you can rest-assured it's meant to confuse people.(Btw I sometimes had to ask for "help" from my professor so don't think I'm all that smart.)

Think about chess for a moment, the entire board is like a diagram at some point. You have every pawn piece's future planned.  You have every top piece's POSSIBLE future planned.  And you might even have contingencies based on your opponent's pieces planned.  But it all changes once you move a pawn. All future moves can be changed by a pawn. 

ONE man CAN make a difference.

That is my lesson again is that economics is not perfect, the understanding of global warming is not perfect, the reality of space travel is not perfect, even the reality of cancer, which HAS MANAGED TO HANG AROUND FOR 20 YEARS WITHOUT A CURE, is not perfect.

Nothing and NOONE is perfect... and neither is our system of government.

ps. As you might guess, I fear and expect serious talks to come up soon about the world and its understanding of America. We might have to "EXPLAIN it to them". (Khan's words to his gunner...btw Kirk was the bad guy in that one... betcha yall didn't get that, he's a cheater at the Kobayahi Maru test, he left his son, he flaunts regulations and almost gets his crew killed, he makes a scary face, and taunts his enemy when he had the chance to escape, and yet he STILL manages to make himself appear the hero, but that's what explorers do, they mess up sometimes...)

Pilot error

Putin I mentioned in a previous blog is going to be hard to handle. He is an intelligence agent which means his heart is his country, when he's not paying off the people that do work for him. At some point, he changed from being a behemoth gangster to caring about his people, I imagine. So in like fashion he must have divined that everyone next to him, was unlike him. They must be in it for the money. But that doesn't ring so true with the leader of Ukraine being a monied tyrant willing to physically injure protesters. And on the off chance that Putin sent gangsters to attack the police in guise of peaceful protesters, I reserve judgment.

But it is the height of arrogance to believe the world needs some other country to join him. And yet there is nothing to do when you're at the top is there? You need something besides a super bowl ring to pass the time... and so do your followers. As it happens, having a standing army is quite expensive when it does nothing.

The plane that is missing brings back stories of UFOs and Bermuda Triangles. When things disappear without a trace, it's time to newfangle a legend, perhaps of sea monsters and sirens that call ships to their doom... despite all the gold that went missing that noone seems to mention in the legend.

Now let's try to imagine what happened. Imagine I'm a passenger on this flight. I'm not anyone special but I know there's something's wrong with the plane. Can I approach the cockpit? Should I, being MALE and all and can expect squat help from women who are probably poking me with their "you coward" looks, risk my life?  Not likely.   It would take fully 3 people and one at a time they would have to sacrifice themselves, merely to weaken some man trained with a weapon of some sort. In support of a better design, I would not only make access to the cockpit easier to access, I would put traps in there that only the pilots know about.

This is a result of a paradigm shift I hope you realize. In former days pilots were akin to the CAPTAINS of a ship. They flouted their wealth like they flouted their knowledge of their crafts and their trade. They walked into the airport bars knowing full well NOONE would question their $100 tip or the "questionable" conversations they had with various women at the bar. For them, life was one of convenience because of the trust and people they commanded as well as the MONEY.

But times have changed haven't they?

Since the strike of the Air Traffic Controllers, and Reagan's utter dismissal of their rights to negotiate higher wages, it was time to make lower ALL the workers' wages... including the Captain's. And like they do in Wall Street, the executives were soon shaking hands, agreeing things about other people's worth, and making money doing nothing but milling information. Congratulations GREAT leaders of corporations, you mighty RISK TAKERS, you JOB creators... bah.

Executives deserve no respect. Salesmen all. In fact it would be a dutiful project to begin to limit their terms as we do with our president. Remember when a company's vision statement lended it's workers a sense of purpose that had to be seen to it's dreary end. "To provide the BEST service in the credit card industry" or some such.

Now EVERY vision statement should read "to be bought out by the most VINDICTIVE and MARGINALIZED members of society not ACTUALLY in jail and then to be sold to similar degenerates whose highest purpose has never amounted to more than checking the newspaper for the latest numbers". Why? Because that is what you can expect to happen to your company once it's "successful".

Way back there I was talking about CAPTAINS of planes. The truth is most of them don't make what they used to. I remember being told that an air traffic controller would command 70k or more and that it was considered a government employee. Is that where it is today? No. In one news story I read that the person FLYING the plane after a crash was getting 30k. 30k to FLY a plane filled with 200 people. That's just a disgrace. It's no small stretch to imagine the CORPORATIONS also saving money on replacement parts and on safety checks and even on ground people and say... TIRES. And with CAPTAINS now commanding squat attention from bartenders and even their stewardesses, it's no wonder NOONE knows what is missing from a plane that has no members of any import to the ground crew and service people. Those people there at the airport know something but it's obvious they don't respect the crew enough, to say anything.

You see, that top money that was being paid to CAPTAINS to his crew and to airport workers, was necessary to keep the connections flowing from the service industry all the way up to the Captain and beyond to the controllers and leadership of the airport or airports. But it's gotten weak hasn't it? As the money slides off the top captain, so it does to the service people in the airport and then on to the regular people of the airport. And in the event of a BREAK like this one, noone knows or CARES about those lost lives that obviously lead to SERIOUS repercussions for whoever let's slip the massive brouhaha that this was.

And that's the problem with disparate income levels. The connection to the top is more strained. People have less regard for the worthless lives at the bottom. People at the bottom have less regard for "getting involved" or being "collateral damage" in the antics of rich people claiming insurance or offing the competition by treating commoner's life as less valuable. And as this separation continues, and it's obvious to all that the kings have TRULY no regard for people, people will object, and they will do it FAR TOO LATE to be of any use in removing these icons of APERY.

We the people have to get this right. We are on a plane and we know it's being steered away from the path to prosperity for all, and we have to negotiate "the impossible" from the pilots.

Now let's take this little paradigm shift to Russia. Putin is not going to budge. It's like that scene from Star Trek TNG where Jellico lays it on the line for Riker and the Counselor, "he is not going to budge, and we are NOT going to give in to his demands" or maybe let's take the scene from Kill Bill pt 1 "that woman deserves her revenge, and we deserve to die. Or maybe not. So, we'll just... see."

The answer to this impasse is in trusting our intelligence workers like they did in Star Trek, to figure out a way to TRAP them into doing something rash that is UNACCEPTABLE to the world. I wish them luck.

But you can see how this is an impossible dream, to stop an act of selfishness that 100 million people are behind. Can we really stop them and not listen to them cry IRAQ in our ear? Moreover, is there a single soldier that is going to risk their lives to defend the selfish mercenaries in power at the various Republican conventions that are promulgating their "cut food stamps" rhetoric?

And what do you think is going to happen when the first senator suggests we cut Veteran's Benefits back home?

Yeah, it's gonna be a hard sell for us to go to war knowing what we know, but we gotta find a way to do it.  All revolutions are MUCH smaller... the SOONER they occur.

I don't know what I was expecting. I thought, maybe he was funny, maybe he was well-received, maybe young people will get attached to a President that can go it alone for a change.

Yes, I'm talking about the President appearing on whatever comedy that he was on that probably won't be seen much at all ever again.

I saw President Obama some few times throughout the day with scenes where he gave one-liners, explained how Hangover 3 wasn't so hot, talked about the ACA signup and really how he held his own on a comedy show.

That was during the day. Last night on Lawrence, (you're welcome Lawrence, you do a good job, plus it pleases me that you and Motormouth run resistance for Rachel who'd probably get squashed by more bullish types and as a finance major, I will be the first one to chime in the benefits of a DIVERSE portfolio)

Oh... so last night on Lawrence I caught an EXTENDED version of what the President was put through on that comedy. To be blunt, it was a disaster. One of the main goals of a comedy is to get the guest to show emotion and if you get that, then you don't feel too bad when say BILL MAHER gets angry because causing emotion in your guest makes your show like a Jerry Springer show.

It makes it like a coliseum where the stupid people go to the center and they expect the MASSES to be merciful  (This reminds me of someone). But Bill Maher is more expert than that, he nuanced long ago that if he didn't control his crowd, he would have a mob of people willing to RALLY against the government. So he is willing to beat himself up now and again just to show that HIS SHOW is not one that is there to dominate guests, his show is there to cut away at the fancies of the behemoths of a Republic that are LAUGHABLY self-centered and who shove their show all over the place in public.

Just don't expect him to be nice to you if the place falls silent suddenly.

Oh... so on the OTHER comedy the President is woefully drawn out. O M G. He gets called black, he gets told he's old, he gets told VILE stuff that if it was said to me, I would up and leave. To be blunt, the President gets emotional and after an awful display of awkwardness I suddenly thought of Rachel. And then that suddenly made me think of Bill Maher, and then that makes me think of Lawrence. Diverse yes but thankfully all on the same side but still, all vulnerable to chaos.

So if you want my opinion that's the LAST time we see a president on a comedy and to be honest, Bill Maher is probably shaking his head with a grin because he WOULD have cursed in front of the President, but he would NEVER have pulled out his goat like that other guy did.

Ok, now that I got that off my chest, tongue, sinuses, or whatever let's talk about say ALEX WAGNER!

I can't tell where she is now but from the look of whatever background they have on her show... she's in someone's garage. Yeah, cameras that span the soundroom and overlook the plaza are a far cry from the picture room she seems to sit in now. At this point I would rather you just make it all a green room and have her telecast projected as if done from the moon or from a space station, why? Because it looks very low-tech at this point. Not that Rachel's looks any better but in the past she used to have a huge table, now... not so much.

Trust me, this is 18 years of boardroom meetings talking, people notice when the TABLE is smaller. Or when the room is smaller. Or when the OVERHEAD is smaller.

When a financial guy is sent over from finance to audit your department, expect at least $60,000 of cuts because that's what the company is paying him a year, to take that away from your department.

Ok so now that my little life has made you all feel like poor people, try spending on the environment. Live it up, especially YOU Mr. President. Now that we know what slummin it feels like, someone needs to wake up and double ALL of these people's overhead (cost of doing business) so that WE AS A COUNTRY can feel that the great people we are watching...

are at the PINNACLE of society and it's influence, because they are.

The Rapture

What's funny is that after BLASTING my ID to kingdom come, it's almost peaceful the way I want for nothing. I wonder if the world will be like that after the Apocalypse.

One of the most puzzling texts in the Bible is this little known verse that states that after the Rapture the world will be transported to hell along with the people therein. See, that part "therein" is what is puzzling admittedly to most Southern Baptists. Will the world be in HELL? Doesn't hell exist after death only? What is puzzling also is that we can't know, based on what they believe, if the Rapture has come and gone and we are like LIVING in hell.

The Rapture is when God will "bring home" all of the Christians from the Earth and all of the people leftover will be officially welcomed into the Apocolypse, which is the era of the end of the Earth or some such. But I have my own interpretation, (Bill Maher's voice) "Do you wanna hear it? Of course you do."

The rich people let's call them "rich" want everyone to believe they DESERVE to be rich. This keeps everyone from taxing ONLY THEM. And yet it was because they took more than they NEEDED that they are sitting atop a pile of money so it's obvious to everyone in a physical sense that we are just ALLOWING them to keep an amount thousands of times the amount than they will need in their lifetime. So we can either ALLOW them to keep it or they can begin to set upon influencing public opinion.

Which is another way of saying they will ALLOW us freedom.

Will they teach and promote to everyone that we ought to achieve what we need by working together to allow money to cycle from rich to the poor to the rich again? Or will they teach that we should EMULATE them and get rich how they did it? Because if we follow that train of thought then we know how to do it their way don't we?

We have to, instead of making women offers that they can choose to accept from the most exciting men, we have to SECTION OFF competitors from access to the women. Yes SEX is at the root of everything in life. And what happens when enough competitors have left the game or realize THIS is how you get women and they start to dominate other men until only a few men are actually available and women start to complain that they don't like selfish people that take ACTION to get what they want instead of just BEING an amazing person?

Then it's time to RAPE THE WOMEN!

And once the raping starts, noone is going to really remember that good people long ago warned of EMULATING the rich, because by that time people like me, like Jesus, like Christians and other more aggressive preachers of equality will have been SECTIONED from access to the public.  And people will ALL believe that this is just the natural order of things. 

It is my interpretation then, that THAT is when the Rapture will have come and gone.

Headless horseman?

For some reason this question was left unanswered, I remember now, why I dunno.

My parents' car had the glove box locked today. It was my mother who mentioned it to my dad. He was sure he had not locked it and I mentioned to him that it was not me. So we check the glove box and I get this thought that maybe the FOP has something to do with it. The FOP is an auto-lock button that comes with cars now. It makes opening your car so much easier doesn't it... all you have to do is TRUST that noone else has a duplicate of your "code" on their FOP.

So I try to open the glove box with it and it doesn't work. Moreover, I notice that it is strictly a key entry thing so the FOP could not have been used.

The conversation now turns to demons. How'd we get demons in our house I wonder? That "house" must be haunted yes? In many scary movies this would be a moment of expressing FEAR right? What's gonna happen next I wonder? Will the attic start to make noises? We go back to the room my mother's in and she makes mention again that she didn't lock it and that she was looking for her camera. I find her camera and tell her that if she sees anything suspicious, CAPTURE it on film.

I would have said "capture it with a soul gem" but that might have made her think I was nuts.

And then I mention that this happened to me quite a bit in the past. Things I would find in my car would be out of place. The settings on my radio would be slightly off. The lighter and other things "no longer working". It's strange right? But not really. When you realize that there are boundless people out there ready to "infiltrate" your space for money, it's easy to see how someone with a FOP like mine could mess with my radio. How a mechanic could mess with my electrical system. How TV repair men can do "so much" fixing and then not completely fix things.

It's even possible that they infiltrate your email and your computer in general.  There are times I am reading the captions on cable and the words seem to be "out of place" in a personal way somehow relevant to me.  But the power of it ends there right, once I tell everyone it is happening, or "capture" the funny messages, the fun stops.  This is because if I am being set upon by hordes of "demons", then how many other people are out there being dominated?

How many people are subject to this form of domination? 

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE!

But one thing I won't do is wonder if I am insane.  I won't wonder if the noises are just all in my head.  I won't ask myself if there is are extra-dimensional people or aliens or even a headless horseman like in the story of "Legend of Sleepy Hollow".

No, and neither will my father. 

PS. I remember Thulsa Doom talking to Conan in the final scenes of CONAN THE BARBARIAN and he exclaims, "look at how powerful you are... I, gave you this, I am your father". But then it puzzles me as it should you, did he make him powerful... or did he make him a barbarian.

Paper So Pretty

I just got finished watching a documentary of Ayn Rand. I have been hearing a lot about her and wondered what all the hubbub was about. Thankfully I now know all about Ayn Rand without having to have read her 1000+ pages of a novel. And moreover, I understand her movie better even though it was mostly boring and only saw it once... which means of course that I didn't get anything from it.

She was right for the most part, maybe.

Now I just got wind of Jewel Staite while blowing past several movies on Netflix.  That series and movie I have seen MANY times and it's top notch.  She's SO fine and I wonder "how can I FIND a woman like that" (Rick Springfield). In her first episode she is humping this guy that's like an engineer and coincidentally Nathan Fillion was looking for an engineer and it turns out that SHE is the brilliant one and he has been just using her.

Such a microcosm that is yeah? Women fancy a pretty face so since they can have their pick they have as much sex as they can handle and then end up like her... trying to land a doctor.

Whilst doctors just want a pretty face that they won't get tired of... which of course eventually happens.

And still other rich guys forgo all that banality to go with prostitutes. Good idea, right?  After they sow their WILD oats who do they go for? Other rich women? No, they go for innocence.   Young chicks.  George Clooney Syndrome. (hey don't chastise me I'm in comic mode today)

And who do the innocent go for? Who do they fall for every time? A pretty face.

The good son

I was visiting my mother in the hospital yesterday. She had a problem with her veins near her heart. She has pain there and the doctors made every scan imaginable and couldn't find anything wrong. They even did a PEP-scan I think it's called where they put a camera through her veins. They gave her anaesthesia and because the doctor arrived late, some of it wore off, and she was made to suffer so that they didn't have to use a second batch of it.

On the other hand, maybe this was their way of trying to get her to agree to a second batch, which might cause her to OVERDOSE on it, ya?

Orange Park is a city unto itself. It's not exactly Clay County and definitely not Duval. Here in Jacksonville, the city part of it is in Duval county and most of the suburban areas are a part of Clay County.

This is similar to how it was in New Orleans. The city part of it was in Orleans Parish and the major suburbs outside, the rich parts, were in Jefferson Parish.

And this is how it is in New York right? The city part of it is in one area and the private parts are in another area, New Jersey.  Isn't it strange how the private areas SOMEHOW don't fall under the same jurisdiction of the city. Why is that? There has to be a pattern there throughout the country I bet. But why?

Some nurses were wheeling my mother out and asking her to have a good time at home after "hurting" her with their fecked up procedures and one of them asked her if HER SON was behaving himself.

I wonder which son they meant.

That's life

You take this part of the pie and you give some of it to those who didn't really try to get it and, poof, therein lies the essence of paper scissors rock.

I was reverencing by brother's wife's birthday and we listened to stories about their two dogs. One is a huge black hound looking dog in the shape of a dalmatian but all black. She weighs I'd say about 80 pounds or so. And the little guy that they bought a long while after having her is the SAME breed but only about half her size. They had kept them both in cages at first but eventually let them out and now neither of them use the cages. But they were commenting on how rambunctious the smaller male was. Coincidentally, he spent less time in a cage that she did. So they noticed that he liked to run around at top speed really jumping everywhere... on the couches, checking out the food, jumping on people, whereas the older more experienced dog didn't do that.

But they made mention that she was starting to and that it was funny how she would copy his behavior but he would not copy any of her GOOD behavior.  

And then I said, "and that's LIFE".
